00:04Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter

00:07were among the stars who got their due

00:09at Sunday's award show, hosted by LL Cool J.

00:12I really don't take for granted

00:14when you guys take the time out of your lives

00:17to listen to an album.

00:18The night kicked off with Gaga accepting

00:20the Artist of the Year Award

00:21before she fled the building to perform

00:23at Madison Square Garden.

00:24The show carried on with electric performances

00:26by Ricky Martin, Tate McCray, Busta Rhymes,

00:29Jelly Roll, Post Malone, and Mariah Carey,

00:32who accepted the prestigious

00:33Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

00:35I just have one question.

00:38What in the Sam Hill were you waiting for?

00:42During her acceptance speech, Mariah called out MTV

00:45for taking so long to finally give her a Moon Man.

00:47She also gave a shout out to her dedicated fanbase,

00:50the Lambele, and reminded everyone that her new album,

00:53Here For It All, comes out September 26th.

00:55By the end of the night, Lady Gaga took home

00:57the most Moon Men with four trophies.

00:59I wish I could stay and watch all these amazing performances,

01:02but I have to go back to Madison Square Garden.
