00:00Why have William and Harry not buried the hatchet already?
00:03Well, according to royal experts, the real reason rhymes with Shmegan Schmarkle.
00:08In a new Fox News digital report, insiders allege that Prince Harry's wife, Meghan
00:12Markle, is to blame for the brother's ongoing beef.
00:16Royal commentator Hilary Fordwich said there's a deep-rooted and persistent lack of trust
00:21among the UK royal family that the spotlight-loving suit star can't keep a secret.
00:27Fordwich said any private family discussions could become public or used for commercial
00:32projects.
00:34Those include Meghan and Harry's numerous money-making ventures, from his tell-all book Spare to their
00:39bombshell Oprah interview and, of course, their Netflix series.
00:44The couple's $100 million deal just wrapped up, but they have a new first-look deal with
00:49the streaming giant, albeit for reportedly much less moolah.
00:53Season two of With Love, Meghan drops this week, and the Duchess of Sussex has a growing
00:57lifestyle brand, too, as ever.
01:01Just don't ask domestic diva Martha Stewart about it.
01:04She recently told Yahoo,
01:05"'Meghan, I don't really know very well, and I hope she knows what she's talking about.'"
01:10Shady.
01:11And it gets worse.
01:13The editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward, compared Meghan to an insect.
01:18The flea in the ointment really is very much Meghan.
01:24She's disliked intensely by a large number of the monarchists of this country.
01:31They don't like the idea that Meghan dissed her husband's family and dissed her own family.
01:38Seward, who is the author of My Mother and I, The Inside Story of the King and Our Late
01:42Queen, added that Meghan's estrangement from her own family is seen as a real black
01:48mark against her character.
01:49The royal biographer suggested it could take years for the icy relationship between William
01:54and Harry to thaw, although the death of their father, Charles III, could reunite them.
01:59Robert Lacey, the author of Battle of Brothers, echoed this sentiment to People Magazine, saying,
02:04Well, if and when he does, Page Six will be right here with all the tea and crumpets.
