00:02You worked at Convent?

00:04I didn't know this about you.

00:05Oh yeah.

00:06My first job ever was in the St. Ursuline Convent,

00:09which was attached to my school.

00:10And I was the portress, which is-

00:13What is that?

00:14It's basically a receptionist for nuns, for a convent.

00:17So I was kind of at the front desk answering the phone calls,

00:21mainly from the shoe cobbler.

00:23Not high volume of calls coming in.

00:27And then if they had guests,

00:29I would ring this ancient bell system that they still had.

00:33And it would ring in their room

00:35and then they would come down an hour later

00:37because it took them a really long time to walk down.

00:40Did anyone ever impart any particular wisdom on you?

00:43Or were you just like, I'm in the goddess circle

00:46and I feel very safe right now?

00:47You mean in the convent?

00:48Yeah.

00:50Well, Sister Betty used to play the guitar.

00:54And I thought that was kind of cool,

00:55like a guitar playing nun.

00:57Totally.
