Taree Tread for Traffickimg run raises $70,000 for Destiny Rescue.

00:00My name is Paul Summers and I'm a partnership manager with Destiny Rescue.

00:04For great movements of freedom to happen, it really does start from humble beginnings.

00:10I had the privilege of bringing one of our incredible supporters and just to invite him,

00:15he has a local physio practice here, and just to invite him into sharing in the freedom movement

00:20through Tread on Trafficking. And his yes has actually started quite a significant movement

00:27which is impacting children's lives today. From his yes, last year Menning Valley Covenant Ministries

00:33rescued 18 children. His yes then enabled the churches to come together through Pastor Glenn

00:40who rose up and encouraged this community to now unite to rescue even more children.

00:46We have seen a significant growth in the number of participants. We have seen an incredible growth

00:52in the number of people being creative. One person is actually a young mum is selling brownies and

00:59sweet treats and has actually got over 75 supporters in being in rescue. And that is for us a deep

01:08encouragement. And now to see this Tread on Trafficking grow again this year, to see more

01:14than almost double the amount of children that will be rescued from last year, does show that when we

01:20all rise up together, we can do even greater things.

01:24Destiny Rescue seeks to bring rescue to children that are living in the nightmare of sexual exploitation.

01:31One of the fastest growing trades and one of the biggest tragedies in our world is that children

01:36are bought and sold in sexual exploitation. We have highly trained rescue agents that always work in

01:43twos as uncommitted customers that scour bars and brothels in places like Asia, or rescue children

01:50off the streets in Africa, or if it is in the Dominican Republic or in Latin America, along with

01:56rescuing children from border stations, which is real prevention, preventing the nightmare

02:01from beginning, along with rescuing children from online sexual exploitation of children.

02:07Our agents are highly trained, they're relentless, and they have a heart to see children rescued.
