00:00All in all, the Steelers found themselves up nine at the break
00:06and then got demolished.
00:09Smoke and mirror.
00:10The defense, here's the thing.
00:13I think a lot of people thought whenever the Steelers season starts to
00:19inevitably show that they're not that good,
00:23the arrow will be pointed towards Aaron Rodgers.
00:25And Mike Tomlin.
00:27Well, no, no, no.
00:28But I thought it was going to be pointed towards Rodgers flatly.
00:33The defense is bad.
00:37And, man, listen.
00:40I know if everyone has said for years of Tomlin's fire to be hired in two
00:43seconds, and I get all of that, right?
00:45But just what is he doing right now to set this team up for success?
00:51I mean, it's the highest paid defense in football, and they're awful.
00:54Is every contract bad?
00:56No.
00:56Like, I don't understand, because, Joe, they went touchdown, touchdown,
01:00touchdown, field goal, field goal, and then they ended the game, right?
01:05They, you know, they took their knees, Green Bay.
01:07Jordan Levin, they had two, three incompletions in the whole second half.
01:1120 straight or 21 straight.
01:13Yes.
01:14I mean, threw for 360, three touchdowns.
01:17He was dominant.
01:17I mean, he's absolutely dominant against Hitchburg.
01:21We can get to the Packers, but for the Steelers, as always, they're done.
01:27Maybe they'll be 9-8.
01:28Maybe they'll be 8-9.
01:30If they make the playoffs, they're an absolute layup.
01:32They'll get steamrolled by a real team.
01:34It's the same team every year for almost a decade now.
01:41I mean, it's ridiculous.
01:42Yeah, and they got exposed by a better team.
01:44The perception on Pittsburgh is absolutely like you're talking about Mike Tyson back
01:50in the heyday, and that's the way we view the Pittsburgh Steelers.
01:54Like, they are this dominant team offensively and defensively, and now that big bad Aaron
02:00Rodgers is on the center, it's Super Bowl or bust.
02:03No.
02:04Yeah.
02:04No, they got exposed in week one by the New York Jets, and it just took a couple of games
02:09and back-to-back losses now to realize they're a 500-football team.
02:14What do they have, eight players over the age of 30?
02:17T.J. Watt, Cam Hayward, Jalen Ramsey, just to name a few.
02:21I mean, this is an old defense, and they were exposed last year.
02:24They have no offensive identity for the most part.
02:28One day they run.
02:29The next day, if they meet a bad defense, yeah, Rodgers could have success,
02:33a la against Cincinnati, but they still lost.
02:35And when you look at Green Bay in this matchup, we had talked about it again in the pregame.
02:41Green Bay had lost or didn't cover in four straight.
02:45This was the perfect opponent to get right with because from an offense and a defensive
02:50line perspective, they manhandled Pittsburgh on Sunday night, and that was the difference.
02:56Pittsburgh is a one-trick pony that when they get out ahead for the most part,
03:01they can dominate or win games.
03:03But you force them to play from behind like they were in the second half, they're done.
03:08The Steelers are barreling towards their eighth consecutive season without a playoff win.
03:17I'll say this right now.
03:18I'm willing to bet at four and three, this is the one year under .500 for time.
03:24I'm willing.
03:25I said it at the start of the year, and I'm not backing down.
03:28This team is pedestrian.
03:30They are not good.
03:32They are not good.
03:33Win total in the market is eight and a half, minus 120 to the under.
03:37But again, you see that the books are not covering this team with a load of confidence.
03:41And so, you know, I talk about this.
03:42Here's why Cincinnati blew an opportunity and why Baltimore is booked as a favorite.
03:46Next two are home against Indianapolis.
03:48They're booked as a dog, and then they go to L.A. to play the Chargers.
03:51They'll be booked as a dog as well.
03:53You can do a little bit of a run out from there.
03:55Cincy, Chicago, Buffalo, Baltimore.
03:57I mean, there's a couple of spots on here for this team to handle business, but let's be very clear.
04:03The Thursday night game against Cincinnati was supposed to be a spot to handle business, and they didn't.
04:08Because every year, they have a game that lets you know this team is to not be taken serious, and that is exactly what they are.
