00:23This is a nation of constitutional law, not martial law, Judge Immergut wrote,

00:27warning the orders risk blurring the line between civil and military federal power

00:32to the detriment of this nation.

00:35In response, Miller called the judge's opinion a legal insurrection.

00:40The president is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, not an Oregon judge.

00:45This is an organized terrorist attack on the federal government and its officers,

00:49and the deployment of troops is an absolute necessity to defend our personnel,

00:53our laws, our government, public order, and the republic itself.

00:58Miller didn't stop there.

01:00He launched another attack on what he called a large and growing movement of left-wing terrorism

01:04in the U.S., accusing left-leaning judges and officials of shielding these groups.

01:09The only remedy is to use legitimate state power to dismantle terrorism and terror networks,

01:15Miller's comments quickly drew backlash.

01:20This kind of rhetoric is incredibly dangerous for the judge.

01:24He argued Miller's language fuels the risks he warns about.

01:27California Governor Gavin Newsom urged Trump to remove Miller,

01:31writing a senior White House official accusing a federal judge,

01:36of insurrection for ruling on a case isn't just reckless.
