00:00Which European workers feel the most underpaid?

00:08The unhappiest employees, they're mostly in the Balkans.

00:12The majority of Slovenians, Serbians and Croatians say they're not earning what they deserve.

00:18Nearly half of European workers feel underpaid, with women slightly more likely than men to say so.

00:25But when the same question is asked to employers, 64% insist they are paying fair salaries.

00:32The sharpest divide lies in the English-speaking corner of Europe,

00:36with a 21-point gap in both Ireland and the UK between what employers and employees consider fair pay.

00:44Looking sector by sector, the most dissatisfied workers in Europe are in healthcare and education.

00:51Drilling down further, Slovenian healthcare workers top the ranking of those who feel most underpaid,

00:58followed by Germany's hospitality workforce and Sweden's education professionals.

01:04On the other end of the scale, the most content workers are in Belgium and the Netherlands,

01:10where more than 60% say they're satisfied with their pay.

01:14The Netherlands in particular stands out as an employee heaven,

01:18home to the three groups least likely to complain about their salary,
