Der neue Aito M8 steht in den Startlöchern! Huawei und Seres bringen einen weiteren SUV auf den Markt, der im April offiziell vorgestellt wird. Der M8 setzt auf Hybrid-Technik mit Range-Extender, also einen Verbrennungsmotor, der hauptsächlich zur Stromerzeugung dient. Die E-Motoren leisten zusammen 392 kW und ermöglichen eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 200 km/h.

Die Batterie gibt es in zwei Varianten mit 52 kWh oder 36 kWh Kapazität, was eine elektrische Reichweite von 161 bis 240 Kilometern ermöglicht. Der M8 ist 5,2 Meter lang und bietet Platz für 5 oder 6 Personen. Damit reiht er sich unterhalb des größeren Aito M9 ein. Preislich soll er bei etwa 44.000 Euro liegen – eine spannende Alternative in der wachsenden Klasse der elektrifizierten SUVs.

00:08Huawei and Edo have officially announced that the luxurious and technologically advanced vehicle will be launched in April,
00:14further intensifying competition in the mid- to large-size SUV segment.
00:20Edo, the premium brand for new energy vehicles, was launched in December 2021 by Huawei and the Zaris Group
00:27and is part of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance.
00:31The brand has already established itself with the existing models IOM5, Edo M7 and IOM9.
00:40While the M7 is only available as an extended-range electric vehicle,
00:44the M5 and M9 will be offered in both AF and full electric variants.
00:50The new Edo M8 will also initially be released as an RF model,
00:54according to a recent registration with the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
01:01The Edo M8 will be offered in two seating configurations with five or six seats
01:06and follows the design style of the existing model series.
01:11Measuring 5.2 meters long, 2.0 meters wide, 1.8 meters high and with a wheelbase of 3.1 meters,

01:58According to reports, the Edo M8 will be available on the market as both an RF and a fully electric version.
