00:01Fans across the country are mourning the loss of veteran actor Satish Shah, who passed away

00:06recently at the age of 74 due to cardiac arrest. Among the many who are remembering him with love

00:12is his dear friend and co-star, Ratna Pathak Shah. In a heartfelt tribute, Ratna penned an

00:18emotional note, recalling her final interaction with the beloved actor, a moment that, in hindsight,

00:24feels like his last joke. She shared that on 25th October, at 12.57pm, Satish had sent her a

00:32WhatsApp message that read, I'm often mistaken for an adult because of my age. Amused, Ratna replied

00:39at 2.14pm, that's just right for you. But just two hours later, at 3.49pm, she received a message from

00:46producer JD Majitia that read, Satish bhai is no more. She wrote, at first, it felt like someone

00:53was pulling a fast one, in terrible taste. As it sunk in, it became even more unbelievable.

01:00Satish gone. A man determined to live life more fully, laugh at it and take every blow on the

01:05chin and come out smiling, gone. Ratna described the confusion and disbelief among their close

01:11friends as they tried to process the shocking news. Many of them had received similar light-hearted

01:16messages from him that very same day. Together, Ratna and Satish created one of the most loved

01:23on-screen partnerships as Maya and Indravdan Sarabhai, a duo that brought laughter and warmth

01:28to millions of homes. Their effortless chemistry made the show a cult classic, and their friendship

01:34extended far beyond the screen. Satish Shah passed away on 25th October in Mumbai. While initial

01:41reports mentioned kidney failure, his co-star Rajesh Kumar later confirmed that the cause was a sudden

01:47cardiac arrest. He reportedly collapsed at home during lunch and could not be revived at the hospital.
