00:38When comparing prices, the base variants of the two models are only about 5,000 euros apart.
00:45The Big Star Essential starts at 24,000 euros and is not only significantly better equipped than the Duster Essential,
00:51but also has a more powerful engine with 140 horsepower.
00:56If you upgrade the Duster with the Expression Trim and the TCE 130 engine to a similar equipment level as the Bixer,
01:03the price of the compact SUV quickly rises to over 22,000 euros.
01:09This shrinks the difference considerably.
01:14Anyone who then upgrades the Bixer for just under 3,000 euros receives almost complete equipment,
01:19including an electric tailgate, dual-zone climate control, high-beam assist, and online navigation.
01:26The size difference between the two models is also considerable.
01:32The B is 23 centimeters longer than the Duster and, due to its slightly higher design,

02:38the Dacia Duster offers clear advantages thanks to its compact dimensions and agile design,
02:43especially on narrow, challenging routes.
02:47Its lower weight and robust, functional basic equipment make it a solid choice for off-road enthusiasts.
02:55The Bigster, on the other hand, scores with a wider track and longer wheelbase,
02:59which provide greater stability on less extreme terrain.
03:05However, the larger dimensions and heavier weight limit its maneuverability,
03:09making it more suitable for light to medium off-road conditions.
03:12Overall, the Duster remains the better choice for pure off-road use,
03:19while the Bigster is more of a comfortable all-rounder that can easily handle occasional off-road driving.
03:28Black steel rims, unpainted bumpers, and exterior mirror caps give the Duster a functional work vehicle image,
03:34while the Bigster appears more sophisticated, even in its base version.
03:41Both models have roof rails, which can be replaced by practical versions with integrated crossbars in higher trim levels.
03:47The Bigster's size advantage becomes clear in the interior.
03:55While there is no difference in space between the Duster and Bigster in the front seats,
04:00the second row of seats in the Bigs offers enough room for even taller people to comfortably cross their legs.
04:04In the Duster's front end, there is also absolutely sufficient space for two adult passengers.
04:14The biggest difference, however, is in the trunk.
04:17The Duster offers a maximum of around 500L, expandable to 1600L with the rear seats folded down right up to the roof.
04:26The Bigs, on the other hand, impresses with over 650L to just over L.
04:31There are slight compromises in both models with all-wheel drive and hybrid versions.
04:38In terms of performance and fuel consumption, it can be said that the Bigster's larger dimensions,
04:43longer wheelbase, and greater weight suggest an increased level of ride comfort.

05:40In summary, the Bigser is the better choice overall.
05:49The price difference is only significant when comparing the base versions.
05:54Otherwise, the difference is entirely justified,
05:57as the Bigser offers significantly more in higher trim levels and with more powerful engines.
