Die neue Corvette ZR1X setzt MaĂstäbe: Mit 1.250 PS kombiniert sie einen 5,5-Liter-Biturbo-V8 mit einem leistungsstarken Elektromotor â Ergebnis: brachiale Performance, Hybridantrieb und Allrad in einem extremen Gesamtpaket.
Der V8 treibt die Hinterachse an, der Elektromotor die Vorderachse â mit einer gemeinsam nutzbaren Batteriekapazität von 1,9 kWh. Der ZR1X beschleunigt in unter 2 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h, die Viertelmeile schafft sie in unter 9 Sekunden. Die Frontachse entkoppelt sich erst bei 257 km/h.
Auch fahrdynamisch bietet die ZR1X alles: Das neue eAWD-System, ein Ăźberarbeitetes Bremsensetup mit Carbon-Keramik-Bremsen (419 mm Scheiben), sowie ein optionales ZTK-Performance-Paket mit Aero-Kit, strafferer Abstimmung und Cup-Reifen machen sie zur ultimativen Track-Waffe.
Innen bleibt die Corvette gewohnt funktional, bietet aber drei neue Bildschirme, darunter ein 14-Zoll-Digitalcockpit und ein 12,7-Zoll-Zentraldisplay. Preislich soll sie bei etwa 230.000 ⏠starten â die teuerste Corvette aller Zeiten.

00:04Today, it's all about the brutal power of the upcoming 2026 Chevy Corvette ZR1X Hybrid with all-wheel drive and a breathtaking 1250 horsepower.
00:15What Chevy has put on wheels here is nothing less than the most extreme production vehicle the brand has ever built.
00:21The Corvette's future began with the introduction of the mid-engine C8 generation in 2020, after the last front-engine model rolled off the assembly line in 2019.
00:33The Corvette era, introduced in 2024, marked two premieres.
00:38It was the first Corvette with a hybrid drive and all-wheel drive.
00:42But the new Z1X is now taking it to a new level.
00:45By combining the twin-turbocharged LT7 V8 engine from the ZR1 with a reinforced electric motor from the era, an all-wheel drive hybrid monster is created.
00:57At home, it makes even super sports cars look pale in comparison with its approximately 1250 horsepower.
01:04The 5.5-liter V8 with twin turbocharger provides the bulk of the power and drives the rear axle via an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
01:12The front axle is equipped with a revised electric motor, whose usable power has become even more effective thanks to a 29% increase in the battery's energy yield.
01:26Although the battery itself still has a gross capacity of 1.9 kWh, the power output has been significantly increased.
01:35The system output of the electric motor is now around 186 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque.
01:42The rev limit has also been raised and the front-wheel drive now only disengages at around 256 km per hour.

01:54The rear-wheel drive ZR1 already impressed with its brutal acceleration.
01:58Now the county route 1x with all-wheel drive goes one better.
02:04It is said to go from 0 to 100 km per hour in under 2 seconds and the hybrid coupe can complete the quarter-mile in under 9 seconds with a top speed of over 244 km per hour.

02:22But the Corvette ZR1X is more than just a sprint king.
02:26The chassis setup has been equipped with a completely new IEVD control system, which is supposed to enable simultaneous lateral and longitudinal accelerations of 1.0 grams each.
02:36So if you want to exploit the full potential, you'd better eat lightly beforehand.
02:42Also new is the so-called push-to-pass button on the steering wheel, which you can use to unlock full power in performance mode.
02:49To do this, simply step on the gas, push the cruise control lever up and hold on tight.
02:55Another point of criticism of the previous models, namely the braking performance, has been eliminated with a new braking system called J59.
03:02Fitted as standard, it has 10 piston brake calipers at the front and 6 pistons at the rear as well as 41.9 cm carbon ceramic brake discs each.
03:13These are supposed to enable decelerations of up to 1.9 grams, for example, from around 229 to 199 km per hour.
03:22The chassis is also given more dynamics by the optional ZTK package.
03:26This includes stiffer springs, a harder setup, Michelin Sport Cup 2 rims and various aero components such as dive planes, underbody stabilizers, a gurney flap on the hood and a gigantic rear wing.
03:40Inside, the ZR1X Corvette remains typically down-to-earth.
03:47There are new screens, including a 14-inch digital cockpit, a 12.7-inch central display and a 6.6-inch control panel for the head-up display and driving dynamics systems.
03:58However, the design remains rather functional compared to real hypercars.
04:04At least the previous control buttons have been reduced and the climate control has been moved below the central display.
04:10Chevrolet has not yet announced an official price, but with an expected starting price of around âŹ230,000, the Z1X is likely to be by far the most expensive Corvette ever.
04:23Nevertheless, demand is expected to be strong.
04:26After all, you get hypercar performance here at a comparatively moderate price.
04:32The market launch is planned for the end of 2025.

06:14When you combine the e-stall wheel drive in the LT7 engine, you end up getting better 0-60 times.

06:23You're already starting with a 1064 horsepower from the LP7, but now you're adding in another 186 horsepower on the front drive unit.
06:32That gives you 1250 horsepower, which is just mind-boggling to think about.
06:37The e-stall wheel drive makes the Z1X more responsive.
06:40It's easily apparent that the hybrid system is actually a performance benefit.
06:44The propulsion controls in this car are absolutely 100% unique.
06:49We took so many learnings from the E-Ray and the Z1 and have applied it here.
06:55We are constantly pushing the boundaries with respect to horsepower and torque and the front drive unit was no exception.
07:01That battery pack is extremely robust.
07:04We knew we could open up some of the energy usage for this particular vehicle.
07:08So we added 26% energy taking the front drive unit to 186 horsepower and the torque to 145 Fox takes the EV modes from the E-Ray as well.
07:19A shuttle mode for getting around a racetrack or your garage without warming up your engine.
07:29It also takes stealth mode from the Eos and enables them to exit the neighborhood quietly.
07:34When we developed the Z1X, we needed to expand on the electric racetrack strategies.
07:39The Z1X has three electric energy strategies.
07:42The first is endurance mode.
07:44This was developed for the track deed customer that wants lap after lap consistency.
07:48The second one is qualifying.
07:50You're here to set track records.
07:52Use this for a time trial.
07:53The third is push to pass.
07:55You get to deploy all of the energy of the front axle to pass the competition on track.
08:00So much technology has been poured into this car, elevating it to be the most advanced Corvette to date.
