00:33As a player, it's got to pose an additional challenge physically to get through these stretches.

00:40This is a physical sport we play.

00:42In your body, it just has to be ready when you start the season.

00:45And this is where Green looks to score.

00:48He's comfortable and confident down low.

00:51And Grimes has it in the corner.

00:56Boy, he is looking confident.

00:59Love how they're using him so far.

01:01Yeah, when he gets engaged this early in the game, it's bad news for the defense.

01:09So, G.A., when you think about Steph Curry's legacy, he changed the way the NBA game is playing.

04:31And no team is going to shoot 50% every night.

04:35But this team has the right approach.

04:37When the shots are falling, they can light it up.

04:43And a look at the recent power rankings.

04:47Some interesting stories here in the early part of December.

04:50You look at the Pacers.

04:51They're gaining on some of the teams above them.

04:54Trying hard to crack into that top five.

04:56And I think for Golden State, they're certainly exceeding expectations.

05:01To be in the top five at this point, something not many outside of their locker room saw coming.

05:28And I've been impressed with the unselfishness.

05:31But also getting guys the ball where they can do something with it.

05:36His court vision has been on display in this one.

05:38He's doing a tremendous job just orchestrating the offense beautifully.

06:10We talked about the challenge of facing off with Steph Curry, the three-point king.

06:14Coach said it's not just the threes that are concerned with Steph.

06:18It's how well he passes the ball.

06:20He's one of the best point guards ever.

06:22And Curry will get everyone else involved.

06:28And the plan going into last season for the Sixers, Richard, was win now around their veterans.

06:34Now, they have some great younger talent, too.

06:38And with the health of Embiid and Paul George, a change to the younger players is not a bad idea, but it's still a tough decision.

06:47And the defense was right on him there.

06:50Nice contest.

08:40Guys, one of the more lengthy free agency sagas revolved around Jonathan Kaminga.

08:44And many thought his time was up in Golden State.

08:47He saw fewer and fewer minutes down the stretch of last season and into their playoff run.

08:51But when Kaminga tested free agency, tested potential sign-in trade deals, nobody seemed to be the exact right fit.

08:58So eventually, he took the Warriors' offer.

09:01Guys, we'll see just how long this lasts.

09:03But for now, he'll continue to be in that Golden State uniform.

09:07We'll continue to track that story.

11:08Yeah, it's going to take better rim protection than that if they're going to climb out of this hole.

11:12And, guys, they continue to put a lot of pressure on the interior defenders with their work down low.

11:18But this is his third free throw attempt for the game.

11:22Richard, be honest.

11:23Did you expect Curry to have this kind of career when he was drafted into the NBA?

11:28I don't think anyone expected Steph to have such a transformative career.

11:33He's more than a superstar.

11:35He's an icon and an excellent ambassador for the game.

11:40George has got seven points here in this quarter.

11:42Let me tell you, over the years, George has added a lot of strength.

11:47Allows him to absorb the contact in there.

11:53Now, Grimes.

11:55He's got 19.

11:56And foul on the shot.

11:58So, he'll get a chance at the line.

12:01They get Stephen Curry.

12:02And, G.A., you know some people argue that defense has declined in recent years.

12:07Would you agree?

12:07I think mostly it's just harder to defend in today's game.

12:11You have to cover so much more ground.

12:13And, with the lack of physicality, it just makes it more challenging.

12:23The first one falls.

12:34R.J., there were questions about the two-timeline approaching Golden State.

12:38But, some of those young guys have made a difference.

12:41And, some haven't.

12:42But, those team-friendly contracts of those younger players, that's one advantage.

12:46And, a way to keep that energetic talent around their young stars.

12:50All three throws, good from Grimes.

12:53And, it seems, Richard, sometimes the best player on a team isn't necessarily their leader.

12:59You've been on a lot of teams.

13:00A lot of great players.

13:01Do you agree?

13:02Well, at the very least, you need your best player to be the tone setter.

13:06They don't have to be very vocal.

13:08But, their work ethic and their accountability has to be the highest.

13:12And, he gets the bucket.

13:17George's ability to facilitate an offense is one of his many strengths.

26:31let's take a look at some of the top candidates emerging as we see here some players who are likely to make the final cut.

26:40You've got to love the advancement and really the evolution of the three-point shot in today's game.

26:46Look at Curry.

26:47And it's him all alone atop the voting.

26:50It's pretty much a done deal that he'll be showing off his long-range skills in the three-point contest.

26:54Yep.

26:55And he's going to be scary to have to go up against if he's on that day.

27:00Nobody can shoot it like he can when he gets in a groove.

27:04And it's going to be an exciting showcase this year.

27:06Some incredible shooters, that's for certain.

27:09We'll keep you updated as we find out more.

27:11Yeah, and I think we're in for a real treat.

27:13I think the increased importance of the three-point shot in today's game has really shined a light on the talent, precision,

27:20and really the wow factor of how these guys can drill the long ball.

27:25And a moment now to check out who the Warriors have coming up on their schedule.

27:30On Saturday, they'll face off against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

27:35Then on Sunday, they'll go up against the Bulls in Chicago.

27:39And, you know, nobody loves playing on the road, but it does offer a good chance to see exactly what your team is made of.

27:48This team is going to find out a lot about itself over the next stretch of games.

36:54And that will add to a healthy lead after that trip to the free-throw line.

37:02And so the 76ers can now just hold on to the ball.

37:17So the 76ers win it.

37:19It was a fantastic ball game.

37:21And they did a great job making sure it didn't get away from them late.

37:24I mean, they faced some challenges, but really held firm when they needed to.

37:29On both ends, it's just effective in terms of coming away with this win.
