While this cheesy side dish may seem sophisticated, it couldn’t be easier to make. In this video, Jess shows you how to make puff pastry cheese straws using less than five ingredients. Chopped garlic and parmesan cheese are rolled up into each puff pastry bread stick before being quickly baked in the oven. With minimal ingredients and effort involved, these cheese straws work perfectly as a last-minute addition to the dinner table.

00:06And if you ask me, you really can't go wrong with a generous amount of garlic and parmesan sandwiched between a sheet of puff pastry.
00:12If you're intimidated by working with dough, a sprinkle of flour will help keep things from sticking.
00:16And if you don't have a rolling pin, a jar or a bottle would work just as well.
00:19Twisting up all the straws was very satisfying.
00:22And after another sprinkle of parm and a short nap in the fridge, they're ready for the oven.
