00:05During a recent episode of Vogue's The Run-Through podcast, Tina Knowles, the Grammy-winning singer's
00:10mother, chatted about her granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter's performances during Beyonce's
00:15Renaissance World Tour. Every night her dad and me would get on this platform out there
00:19and we would just be screaming our heads off, like with no shame at all. While she was one
00:23proud grandmother alongside millions of supportive fans, Knowles shared that Carter later read some
00:28negative comments on social media following her original performance. Thankfully, Beyonce swooped
00:33in with some helpful advice. She said Beyonce sat her daughter down and said,

00:50kill it. And she did. She just grew so much from that experience. Carter ended up making appearances
00:56for the remainder of the tour. Father Jay-Z also praised his daughter last year during an interview
01:01on CBS Mornings, especially for how she overcame her nerves and the online hate by going on that stage
01:06to quote, reclaim her power. For more on this story, head to THR.com. And for the latest entertainment
