00:58and ski instructor on a beginner run. Sanderson was an experienced black diamond skier who lacks

01:04vision in his right eye. The two collided on the slope, with each presenting testimony claiming the

01:09other was the uphill and therefore at fault skier. Paltrow declared, I was hit by Mr. Sanderson and he was

01:16at fault. I feel very sorry for him. It seems like he's had a difficult life, but I did not cause the

01:21accident, so I cannot be at fault for anything that subsequently happened to him. Sanderson originally

01:27sued Paltrow for $3.1 million in damages in 2019, but then later reduced the amount to $300,000.
