03:07We're here at Bandamere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado,
03:09just outside of Denver.
03:11This track was opened in 1958 and has been operated
03:14by the Bandamere family ever since.
03:17Built right in the side of a mountain,
03:18this track sits at 5,800 feet above sea level.
03:22At this altitude, the air is much thinner,
03:24which impacts how much power these cars can produce.
03:29Nitrous combos will probably have a little bit more of an
03:31advantage here at the altitude.
03:33They create their own atmosphere, but also the tuning
03:36window can be a little bit smaller.
03:38But as we just saw with Lizzie, potentially a little too
03:41aggressive on the tune-up can result in catastrophic damage
03:44as she blew up her motor in the finals from the Idaho race.
03:49Here's how it works.
03:50If you win the grade eight, you get 10 points.
03:52Plus, you also get $10,000.
03:55If you run her up, you get seven.
03:56And if you make it to the semifinals, you will get three.
03:59Those points go towards an individual championship that
04:02will be worth $100,000 at the end of the season.
04:05Coming into Colorado, Kai Kelly is leading with 37 points.
04:09Giuseppe is behind him with 20.
04:12But he can catch up in two events if Kai Kelly's knocked out
04:14in the first round.
04:16The grade eight is made up of the top eight drivers from the
04:19Saturday Invitational Race.
04:22And right now, Robin Roberts and Scott Taylor are tied for eight.

22:25The whole run is ruined.
22:26So really, the key is trying to keep the engine RPM up, keep the blower speed up, keep the
22:30boost up, and then you can make a good run.
22:32But as soon as it falls off, the whole run is ruined.
