As the second round of Democratic debates began Tuesday in Detroit, Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert, and Seth Meyers offered political and social commentary on the night’s biggest moments.

00:04calling it Democratic Debate Night.

00:07Too many candidates to remember for Get Harder.

00:09The second Democratic Debate kicked off Tuesday in Detroit, and our favorite late-night hosts

00:14weren't pulling any punches.

00:15The first of two back-to-back debate nights hosted by CNN provided for an in-depth policy

00:20conversation — but also made for a few breakout moments ripe for comedy fodder.

00:25Over at The Late Show, host Stephen Colbert found it hard to sum up the evening, which

00:29he said mostly involved a bunch of guys who have no chance of winning the Democratic nomination

00:35yelling Republican talking points at the people who can.

00:38It was like watching The Seven Dwarfs offering Snow White a poison apple.

00:43Colbert went on to label candidate and author Marianne Williamson a long-shot guru, who seemed

00:49to be operating on a whole other level, saying that an amoral economic system has turned short-term

00:55profits for huge multinational corporations into a false god.

00:59As opposed to the real god Shivlani, goddess of light, amethyst, and essential oils.

01:04Hail Shivlani.

01:06Now, if Williamson's comments made you curious, you aren't alone.

01:10According to Google Trends, Williamson topped the likes of established politicians Bernie Sanders,

01:15Elizabeth Warren, and Pete Buttigieg for searches during the CNN-presented debate.

01:20Before the debate began, Williamson was the top search candidate in only two states, but

01:25at its conclusion was the most searched for in 49 of the 50 states, with Governor Steve

01:30Bullock capturing his home state of Montana.

01:32Google's data also showed that Williamson's dark psychic force comment in relation to the

01:37water crisis in Flint led to a spike in searches.

01:40The late show host also took a jab at Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who talked about corporate

01:45power, saying companies like Amazon that made billions in profits did not pay one nickel

01:50in federal income tax.

01:51And one nickel is a lot.

01:53You can take a streetcar to the Ziegfeld and see a talkie and still have enough left over

02:00for an egg cream at Woolworths.

02:02Over at late night with Seth Meyers, the host praised the deeply substantive debate amongst

02:08the presidential hopefuls, but noted that there was one very loud voice missing in the evening.

02:13President Trump did not tweet for the entirety of tonight's debate, and I think we all owe

02:18a big thank you to the Bachelorette finale.

02:20Seth pointed out that Elizabeth Warren had a strong night, as she wasn't afraid to inject

02:26some Trump attacks into her opening statement, saying that President Trump disgraces the office

02:31of the president every single day.

02:34Which isn't fair, because he's really only in the office, like, twice a week.

02:40Daily Show host Trevor Noah was feeling the burn, and admittedly, the Vermont Senator was

02:44all up in it, creating a truly meme-worthy moment.

02:47You did that and made money off of healthcare, but our job is to run a non-profit healthcare

02:52system.

02:53But you have it.

02:54I do know, and I wrote the damn bill.

02:56Whew.

02:57That's a lot of heat.

02:58Trevor?

02:59Damn!

03:00I thought Bernie was not messing around tonight, huh?

03:03Yeah, I thought he was gonna send someone to the hospital and then pay their entire bill.

03:07He was, uh...

03:08Whoo!

03:09Noah had the most praise for Elizabeth Warren, who he said seemed to be connecting with

03:13the audience, crystal clear every time, and she never seemed off her game.

03:18The interwebs seem to agree, because the clip of her clap back to John Delaney has gone

03:22viral.

03:23I don't understand why anybody goes to all the trouble of running for president of the United

03:27States just to talk about what we really can't do and shouldn't fight for.

03:32So, yes.

03:33While there were some moments worth poking fun at, Noah reminded us that the debate was

03:37clearly about the divide between Democrats who wanted major systemic change and those

03:43who wanted to fiddle in the margins.

03:44There's only one side that's gonna win this, and it's gonna be...
