01:16Larry Page's Google co-founder, Sergey Brin, was the second biggest winner among the world's top 10 wealthiest,
01:23as his fortune soared by $27 billion to an estimated $242 billion, bumping Brin up one spot to number 5.
01:33Meanwhile, Warren Buffett, whose conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway disclosed a nearly $5 billion stake in Alphabet in mid-November,
01:41was the third largest gainer and the only member of this month's top 10 who didn't make last month's ranking.
01:49Buffett, whose net worth rose by $9 billion to an estimated $152 billion,
01:54moved up from number 11 to number 10, as shares of Berkshire climbed by 8%.
01:59He replaced former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who moved down from number 9 to number 11,
02:07as his fortune fell by $6 billion to an estimated $149 billion.
02:13Overall, 7 of the 10 richest people in the world saw their rankings rise or fall on Forbes' billionaires list over the past month.
02:21Page, who ranked number 4 as of November 1st, overtook Oracle's Larry Ellison and Amazon's Jeff Bezos,
02:28who each dropped one spot to number 3 and number 4, respectively.
02:33Bezos, at number 4, is worth an estimated $245 billion, which is down $10 billion since last month.
02:41Number 3, Ellison, who had ranked number 2 since mid-June, was the biggest loser among the world's top 10 wealthiest,
02:47as shares of Oracle sank by 23% and Ellison's fortune fell by $67 billion to an estimated $253 billion.
02:56The second biggest loser, NVIDIA's Jensen Huang, managed to hold on to the number 8 spot,
03:04even as shares of his chip-making giant slumped by 13% and his net worth dropped by $22 billion,
03:10to an estimated $154 billion.
03:15Elon Musk remains the world's wealthiest person, by far, despite being the third biggest loser of the past month.
03:22Musk is worth an estimated $483 billion, even after Tesla's stock slid by 6% and his fortune fell by $15 billion.
03:32Musk has held the title of world's richest person since May 2024.
03:37In October, he briefly became the first person ever worth $500 billion.
03:41Not mentioned so far, number 6, Mark Zuckerberg, who dropped down from number 5 last month,
03:49is worth an estimated $222 billion, down $1 billion from last month.
03:55At number 7 this month is French luxury goods tycoon Bernard Arnault, who is the chairman and CEO of LVMH.
04:03Arnault is the only person on the list who is not American.
04:05His fortune is up $7 billion since last month, and he now has an estimated net worth of $190 billion.
04:14And at number 10 is Michael Dell, who saw his fortune fall $2 billion since last month,
04:19to an estimated $152.1 billion.
04:24All of the top 10 richest people in the world as of December 1st are men.
04:28Each of them is worth $152 billion or more, down from $155 billion last month.
04:34The planet's wealthiest woman is Alice Walton, daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton.
04:41As of December 1st, 2025, she is worth an estimated $119 billion and is the world's 15th richest person.
