00:24Targeting Somali people means that due process will be violated.

00:33And let's be clear, it means that American citizens will be detained for no other reason

00:39than the fact that they look like they are Somali.

00:42That is not now and will never be a legitimate reason.

00:47I am proud to say I'm a Somali-American.

00:49This country welcomed me and my family 26 years ago.

00:56It has provided me a life that I did not have in Somalia.

01:05I've been educated here, got the opportunity to serve my community, to be a council member.
