00:00Rosie O'Donnell says her autistic daughter is angry and blames Trump for moving overseas.
00:06Well, well, well, Rosie O'Donnell is back in the headlines, allegedly moving her life and child across the ocean because she's upset about President Trump's re-election,
00:15proving that democracy only counts when it gives you the result you wanted.
00:18In a recent emotional sit-down with Jim Acosta, Rosie recounted her transatlantic self-exile and her 12-year-old child Clay,
00:26formerly non-binary, now her daughter, reacting to life under the Trump administration by slamming fists on tables and shouting,
00:34Damn him, damn Trump! A striking pre-teen emotional outburst.
00:38Rosie's reaction, Wow, honey, what are you thinking? And the answer, He made us move in order for our own safety,
00:45frames the narrative that Donald J. Trump, duly re-elected by the American people,
00:49is personally responsible for her family relocating to Ireland for safety, which apparently is how the world works now.
00:56Rosie didn't stop, calling the U.S. unconstitutional, illegal, criminal, and so very sad,
01:03while wishing the world rallies against the administration's horrific ideas,
01:07even as she proudly framed her family's march move to Ireland as necessary and brave,
01:12as if fleeing an authoritarian regime rather than a re-elected president in a constitutional republic.
01:18It's almost impressive how everything bad in Rosie's world,
01:21from spilled coffee in Dublin to her child's table-slamming tantrums,
01:25is somehow Trump's fault, revealing that this isn't about safety but politics,
01:30as she can't handle losing or disagreement.
01:32So instead of debating, voting, and organizing,
01:35she leaves the country, blasts the Constitution,
01:38and uses her 12-year-old's meltdowns as proof Trump is destroying the nation.
01:43Rosie says,
01:44I don't really need to do anymore,
01:45retiring from her 22-year crusade of yelling at Republicans.
01:50While in the real world, inflation is cooling, borders are being secured,
01:54and Trump, alongside VPJD Vance,
01:57is actually doing the job she claims is destroying the country.
02:01Yet we're expected to take cues from the self-exiled Hollywood elite
02:05and their pre-teen rage monologues.
02:08If Rosie thinks Ireland is a better place to raise her child,
02:11she's free to stay.
02:12That's the beauty of America.
02:14Even its harshest critics can leave.
02:16Though she might spare us the theatrical exit next time.
