Four men were rescued from a vehicle stranded in floodwaters at Jalan Penerangan in Sepupok, Niah, near Miri, on Tuesday (Dec 9) morning.

The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department operations centre said the Batu Niah fire station deployed a rescue team after receiving a distress call at 9:09 am.

00:00Australian social media users under 16 years old have received notifications or have had their accounts deactivated ahead of a government ban due to come into force on Wednesday.
