00:13This new strategy marks a turnaround in the sports world, as athletes from the two countries were previously banned from competing in many tournaments with their national identity.

00:33Despite the ongoing war against Ukraine, the IOC has announced that it would reintegrate Russian and Belarusian athletes into international sports, citing that athletes have a fundamental right to access sport across the world.
