00:00this one started with a with a young boy who wanted to seek justice for the
00:04death of his father from a much older man and the dynamic is a much older man
00:10relax now relax on the much older well in the end the boy became older
00:23I'm really sorry about pot something serious no it is
00:29human race human race where did you go I just played them like you know you go
00:36into these characters and you you shouldn't judge your characters you just
00:39played them as you know everything that they're doing is right so I mean I just
00:45went in on that's what I don't I turned out to be one of the creepiest roles I've
00:49ever played creepy man he's responsible not me like oh you're playing a very nice
00:56don't shoot the best way in a very creepy yeah now there's a certain twisted
01:01logic in the script that defies your need to work it out in the kind of you know
01:07measured way you might usually approach a script and you kind of just trust in the
01:10mystery of us you know and having seen York's work as all of us did before I
01:14certainly did before I worked on the lobster and Nicole and and Barry how
01:18before they both worked on this so you just have an enormous amount of trust for
01:22director of of his kind of ability you know his his vision is there anything
01:27intimidating or a new challenge that the overall theme was pretty bleak stuff yeah
01:34well I don't know if it I mean I think you you were describing it well you know guys
01:40it's funny how we it's funny how we we're positioned aren't we as you say poking the
01:48finger into places that that sometimes I mean that are experiences that they that
01:55they used to in terms of years ago it was far more explored a lot of the themes
02:00that are in this movie and other other movies that your ghost makes but a lot of
02:06times now those areas are not sort of poked into because they're considered oh
02:11people don't want to go there come on help me out there's a facade okay we'll
02:26eliminate that work but um but there is a sort of yeah I think that the themes of
02:33this movie he's he's exploring and and people come out thinking and and asking
02:40a lot of questions actually I've had so many people when they see it ask me
02:44questions and and want to understand it and then have their own ideas and
02:51evaluations of what it is which is fantastic I love that I love that response
