00:00What was your reaction when you found out you were first in course?
00:04Oh, so, like, so shocked. I was actually, like, really excited.
00:08Like, just the hard work, knowing that I put in all this effort and then it kind of just paid off.
00:13And then, like, just knowing first in the state, like, it took a while to process, but, you know, it was really cool to find out.
00:19Yeah, I don't think I initially processed it. I was just kind of like, oh, yeah, that's cool.
00:22Like, I didn't really react. I was just, I was more shocked, but then there wasn't as big of a reaction as, like, you would assume.
00:30Well, I was hoping for a state ranking, but I wasn't expecting, like, first, so I was also pretty shocked.
00:36What did you guys put your success down to?
00:39Um, asking questions and seeking feedback and emailing my teacher.
00:45Yeah, everyone's working, giving each other feedback on, like, we would FaceTime and, yeah, we helped each other heaps along the way, so.
00:52Yeah, and connecting with your teachers, yeah.
00:55Is that the best advice that you guys would give to someone doing the HSC next year?
00:59Yeah, and just, just, yeah, putting in all the effort, like, just all you've got.
01:02Was there anyone in particular that really supported you through your HSC journey?
01:07My parents.
01:08Yeah, well, my parents, definitely. They just kind of let me go down whatever avenue I wanted to, but then our teacher, Miss Bevan, oh, she was amazing.
01:16And our year coordinator, like, they were Miss Bullock.

01:21Yeah, no, Miss Bevan and Miss Bullock were incredible.
01:24And Miss Bevan, a dance teacher for me.
01:27And what's happening next? What's next for you guys?
01:29I'm going to do a Bachelor of Education Secondary in TAS, so Design and Technology, all those subjects, and then maybe Employment Law down the way, but I definitely want to stick with teaching for now.
01:41For sure.
01:42Oh, I'm doing a personal training course, so I'll be a PT first, and then if I want to go to uni, I'll go if I don't.
01:50I don't. Yeah, I'm not based.
01:52I'm going to university, Bachelor of Dance next year. Hopefully that'll lead to choreography.
