03:36were in terrible decisions so um i don't look at it as being a dysfunctional organization i just look at
03:46at it as whoever was in charge was making some bad decisions on how to build the team

05:20plans as well because right well whoever he's got around doing the secretive stuff they're not
05:26very uh secretive and so that's blown up in his face a couple of times uh throughout his ownership
05:32but yeah i mean look if you wanted to do a decision like that they haven't done a complete rebuild
05:37because they had their quarterback in place right um but if you look at jacksonville jacksonville they
05:42sired it they hired a child as their gm and they got duval as the coach they're kind of rolling right
05:47now i don't know if it'll last because it always is sweet that first year we'll see right
05:50we said the same thing about mcdaniel right so i don't know if that's gonna work out but uh
05:55you know rabel's definitely got a track record i don't know when the dolphin's window was to hire
05:58mike rabel though like no i'm not even saying they should i'm not saying they should have hired him

08:23and have had success now you're asking him to come in put his system in do all the things he needs to
08:30do to win games and guess what how long is that process going to take and you gotta hope that he's
08:36on the same page with the new gm but i'm not saying that it can't be done i'm just saying being down here
08:45in south florida nobody seems to have the patience for that even though you say you just
08:52want change right if a year goes by and they're no good you'll want to get fire them too yeah but
08:59his teams have got like the thing with mike mcdaniel that does get lost and this is why i don't really
09:02think he deserves to come back is first of all the organization had a lot of accountability and
09:10professionalism issues with him as the head coach and that's been self-sanctioned he put out there
09:16so you had players are saying that they put a lot of investment into and jalen ramsey was like i
09:19don't want to play for this guy anymore i'm out of here um and then on top of it like look not many
09:25coaches get to come in with a roster souped up like he did which was we're going to trade for tyreek hill
09:31we're going to give you a big time left tackle you're going to have all this town most coaches
09:37come in and it stinks the first couple years right his team had a a a you know to get hurt the first
09:43year okay stayed pretty much healthy the next year and and that was their best season but the
09:49last two years have gotten worse and i don't necessarily think this is a guy with a lot of
09:54answers because as you and me both watch these games we're very confused by what he does every
09:58single week yes he seems like look he seems like this is his quality seems like a likable dude has some
10:05creativity his his players seem to like him do they necessarily respect him and play and have all
10:12their eyes dotted and tees crossed it's it's a big thing to to see the effort that they've been putting
10:19in after this season so there's something to be said about i feel like but but i feel like most of
10:25that's on the defensive side leroy and i feel like those guys would play for anybody like i don't feel
10:29like i don't feel like jordan brooks wouldn't do that for anybody i think he's a professional
10:33jordan jordan brooks is what's like i think yeah i think make it was a professional the exact
10:39seal is a professional i don't think that right it could be the case it could i give you a perfect
10:44example brian billy with the the ravens defense with ray lewis and and those guys so it's quite possible
10:53right we we've seen that situation uh again you know i've and and and when people
11:00say i'm being apologetic i'm really not because i have had the same issue with mike mcdaniel from
11:07the beginning of the season you just haven't been listening you've had the same issue with them for
11:12years for years and and and this was even when they were winning so so stop with that um the the the
11:20the the problem that i sometimes have with you know talking about this team is i don't know
11:35what a solution would be to make things better quick
11:42and as fans go no fan ever has the patience like you say you do
11:54to go through that process this is where i think people get uh this is what i would disagree with
11:58you though i don't like you saying that they don't have the patience because this fan base has been
12:02patient they have like they've been through a lot of versions of the same crap and a lot of repetitive
12:08behaviors and they have wait wait wait so so but but that doesn't mean they've been patient with it
12:13they've been mad as hell through the whole thing i don't want to get there oh i understand that but
12:19me wait wait me saying that they have they're not patient you're just accepting what has happened

12:31like you you understand what i'm saying not really dude i i gotta be honest with you no
12:38like i think if you're saying what do you consider wait the fact that your team hasn't won
12:42okay and you're now 25 years later that doesn't mean you've been patient how not
12:48because that's the reality of the situation one dude in the entire span of that there's been one
12:53one and done coach has been cam cameron for a one win season everybody else has gotten rope
12:57nobody else on this organization has gotten the unfair shake other than brian flores that's the
13:03only guy and we were all like what i'm not everybody else has gotten their fair run let me try to explain
13:10this in a different way okay if they bring in a new gm and a new coach and they change the way they do
13:22everything and it takes two or three years for two or three years we're going to hear same old dolphins
13:29nobody's going to say i like where it's going it's going to be a couple of years but and and i don't
13:36the thing is is all i have to go on is what i've witnessed the last however many years i've been here
13:42like i've never had this fan base has been mad that they haven't had more success
13:51and and i would say this are you going to be patient to sit back and say for long-term success
14:00we need to i okay this is i gotta just stop you there though leroy they had the longest tenured gm
14:06one of them in the league so he got run they you know joe philbin adam gase adam gase only got fired
14:15because he didn't want to take a step back and tank right joe philbin was terrible at his job
14:20right you know and and deserved to get fired like there's not been a guy who the dolphin fan really
14:27has regretted going away from tony sperano the the owner didn't have the patience in him he tried
14:32to go hire jim harbaugh right and so i don't understand this whole thing of like what's the
14:38other solution because your counter argument to that is well you don't want to hear from
14:42the fans and it's like well no i didn't well that's what it sounds like because it's like no
14:47no see that you're you're misunderstanding what i'm saying i'm not listen you have every right to
14:55but understand when you demand new things and new gm and a new coach that when they come in with a
15:01new process and a new whatever it could take a couple of years are you willing to go through
15:07that because what i've seen every time a new coaches come in is that no you want success right away okay
15:14but i think you're relating to old years the only guy i could say that you could you're doing this
15:18with would be like one stat where they were winning seasons 10 win seasons but they weren't good enough
15:23to win in the playoffs had jason taylor had zach thomas and you're saying hey that's a respectable
15:27team you've been a respectable franchise and they really haven't even reached that level since no
15:34and everybody you've had a couple of years like and it's always it's weird because it's always when
15:39a coach comes in it's always his first first year or two and then it goes the other way right so it
15:47hasn't been sustained i just i think for right now like yeah like what's the other option this isn't
15:54gonna get it done like they're getting they're getting lapped by two teams in their division
15:59the jets have already nuked their stuff and look i'm not saying they've been their own horse's ass
16:04of a franchise right but yeah i i look i i agree that there's not i don't have the answer right
16:10now as to who that is because i don't know but i gotta be honest with you and i thought this kind
16:14of last year after the press conference with mcdaniel and chris greer even before that steven ross said
16:21status quo is not good enough this is the definition of status quo this season it's the
16:27scheme is last year right so how does this guy deserve to keep his gig why because you don't
16:34think it's like he just he doesn't have anything he's bringing to the table he doesn't look like he's
16:39got a vision on any of this stuff um it's fine he gave it a he gave it the old college try
16:44he kind of got the job uh defined by the quarterback it doesn't work out it burnt out
16:51it's over dude and i'm not i'm not even i'm not even disputing that see i think you're you're you're
16:58looking at this saying that i'm i'm not disagreeing with anybody's sentiment the only thing i disagree
17:05with you with is saying the fans haven't been patient i feel like they have them yeah like you're
17:08the situation hold on the circumstances have been unfortunate and you've waited 25 years for a win
17:17but after every year right with the demands or the same old this or the same old that that's not
17:27patient you want wins now and the only reason why i say that you have every right to want to win now
17:36but if you make a change and do it the right way it might take a little bit of time and what happens
17:48is here's what i hear this dolphins team has been 26 years now um you know what i'm not renewing my
17:55tickets and i'm not doing this and i'm not doing that that's not patient i understand the frustration
18:02with dolphins fans believe me but also understand do you think that they're gonna be able to fix it
18:14and how soon do you think it should be fixed because if they go and change everything
18:23the first thing that's gonna happen the first thing is either you're gonna eat a boatload of
18:29the money and get rid of a lot of players and you're not going to have any money to bring any
18:34players in you've lost a lot of draft picks and you're getting some of those back in the next
18:40couple of years with your own picks and like it's not a situation like keep in mind
18:47new england or a couple of other organizations that when houston turned it around they had two top
18:53five picks new england had a boatload of picks that's not the situation here you don't you're
19:02not gonna have an abundance of picks from trading players yeah but like so what are you that you but
19:07you know the situation is like the fix isn't right now with this situation right that's why i asked that
19:13you're gonna be yeah i mean you don't really have a choice like that's what i'm saying like you're not
19:17even in the wants that era of winning games right not even a playoff team so i don't understand why
19:22this this there's this this uh either or of like decent or terrible like they're not good
19:29so take some terrible they've been and by the way they've already gone through that too
