Newly appointed Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Sim Tze Tzin and Deputy Unity Minister Yuneswaran Ramaraj expressed their gratitude for their appointments and pledged to serve with integrity.
The deputy ministers spoke to the media after their swearing-in ceremony at Istana Negara on Wednesday (Dec 17), promising to give their best in fulfilling their responsibilities.

00:43The plan is to work hard and because I'm the deputy minister for METI, so we have to work hard to bring in investment and also to promote trade and make business ease of doing business. Thank you very much.

01:23Yeah, and I'll be reporting to the office tomorrow and I will have a meeting with the minister, with all the ministerial staff and then we have further plans to strengthen the ministry itself.
