00:00Trump's response to Reiner's death ignites a firestorm.
00:04Rob Reiner, the famously outspoken liberal filmmaker and longtime critic of President
00:08Donald Trump, was found dead alongside his wife, Michelle, in their Brentwood home.
00:14The news broke like a thunderclap through the media world, prompting tributes, gasps,
00:19and in true 2025 fashion, immediate political spin.
00:23But leave it to President Trump to skip the thoughts and prayers script and go straight
00:28for what he's thinking.
00:30And yes, he's still thinking Rob Reiner was totally consumed by what he calls Trump
00:34derangement syndrome.
00:35When asked by reporters if he stood by the Truth Social Post in which he referred to Reiner's
00:40death as the result of a mind-crippling disease known as Trump derangement syndrome, Trump didn't
00:46even blink.
00:47He was a deranged person as far as Trump is concerned.
00:50It's not like Reiner ever kept his thoughts about Trump hidden.
00:53Back in 2017, he even helped launch the Committee to Investigate Russia, a so-called nonpartisan
00:59effort made up of Obama-era officials and left-wing media allies.
01:03We now know, after years of investigations and debunked narratives, that those claims
01:08never held up.
01:10According to Breitbart News, Rob and Michelle Reiner were allegedly murdered by their own
01:14son, Nick Reiner, who has now been charged in connection with their deaths.
01:17Even Trump's most vocal critics might have to admit whatever bad blood existed between
01:22him and Reiner, this ending was beyond politics.
01:26Whether you admired him or found him exhausting, Rob Reiner's death marks the end of a very loud,
01:31very personal feud.
01:33But in true Trump-era fashion, don't expect anyone to turn down the volume just yet.
01:37Because in 2025, nothing, not even death, stops the culture war.
