00:00The most humiliating thing was when I, one of my early parts, I got one line.
00:03I just moved out to L.A. and I got a line and a movie.
00:06And I was one basketball player.
00:08And, I mean, I had a line, like, you know, basically I got the ball.
00:10In what were you in?
00:11It's a small film called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, not the television version.
00:15I was a basketball player that just happened to be playing high school basketball.
00:18And then, like, a werewolf or a vampire, like, ran through.
00:20And I got scared, because he was scary.
00:23And I said, you know, like, here you go, take it.
00:25Or take the ball, or something like that.
00:26And I thought my work was good.
00:28And they kind of, we did it a bunch of times.
00:30And I was like, boy, this director is really rigorous.
00:31And then I went and saw the movie with some friends.
00:34And I sounded very different.
00:36And I realized right then, they, they re-recorded my lines.
00:40Take it, man.
00:43I was so bad.
00:45They needed me to be in the scene.
00:47But the director obviously was like, I can't hear the voice again.
00:50Get someone, they had to pay someone to come in and say, hey, man, take it.
00:54Because apparently I couldn't say that convincingly enough.
