Lara Croft, 21 ans, est persuadée que son père, un riche explorateur excentrique porté disparu depuis sept ans, n'est pas mort. Elle fouille ses affaires et découvre des informations sur sa dernière destination. Avec son ami Lu Ren, elle met le cap sur une île mythique au large du Japon où serait située une tombe légendaire. Après avoir survécu à un naufrage, elle est finalement capturée par Mathias Vogel, l'ennemi juré de son père. Celui-ci fait partie de la Trinité, une organisation qui se prépare à perprétrer un génocide. La jeune femme va tout tenter pour venger son père et mettre Vogel hors d'état de nuire...

03:46When you reach hypothermia level, we had water cabins being thrown at us.

03:55We even had to reshoot some things because I turned too blue.

03:58And I can't fix that on screen, apparently.

04:02I wanted her to be a strong physical girl.

04:05So I started to gain muscle and gain strength.

04:09She's just a real powerhouse.

04:11She made me embarrassed to take my shirt off.

04:14And I go to the gym five days a week.

04:16It's been a very physical adventure.

04:19Alicia has impressed me a lot.

04:22It's the first time we've seen her lead an action movie.

04:25And she's taken this bull by the horns.

04:27I love her passion for adventure.

04:29She gets hit, but she stands up again.

04:33This film is going to have the big sets and the mystical doors being opened.
