00:00Thanks for joining us, Charlie. You've made the Rebels team for 2026. How are you feeling about that?
00:05Yeah, pretty pumped. Excited to get into next year with the Rebels.
00:08And what were your goals heading into the pre-season?
00:11Yeah, definitely trying to do my best to make the squad and train really hard, which I feel like I've done, which is good.
00:17And 2025 was a massive year for you with your football. Senior debut for North Warrnambool and playing in their first ever Hampton League Premiership.
00:24Can you tell us about Grand Final Day?
00:25Yeah, it was really special. It's probably a dream come true, being able to run out there and play with all the boys and finally got the job done, which is the main thing.
00:34What was it like when you kicked the goal?
00:36Unbelievable. I saw my mates find the goals as well, so I celebrated with them.
00:40Excellent. Who have been some of your big footy influencers so far?
00:44Yeah, junior coach Aaron Ross. He's coached me the majority through the juniors and stepping into the seniors, Nathan Barty and Liam Ryan, they've been huge for me.
00:51Okay. And can you tell us some of the traits you pride yourself on on the footy field?
00:56Yeah, I pride myself on my kicking. I feel like my skill out on the outside and then my endurance as well.
01:02And there was 16 Hampton boys in the Rebels next year, including seven new players. Can you tell us, name a couple of players you think could have a big impact next year?
01:12Yeah. Yeah, I feel like Jimmy Stevens, Ollie Turner. I feel like they're already huge players. They're really good. I feel like they can easily step in and play around one if they need to.
