Eight houses housing 51 residents were destroyed in a fire at Batu 9, Jalan Labu in Seremban on Wednesday (Dec 24) morning.

00:00Eight houses housing 51 residents were destroyed in a fire at Batu Sembilan, Jalan Labu, on Wednesday morning.
00:07Seremban Fire and Rescue Department said the incident completely razed eight houses,
00:13while another house suffered around 30 percent damage.
00:16All residents managed to escape safely, with no injuries reported.
00:21They are currently seeking shelter at a temporary evacuation centre at Sekola Kebangsaan Labu.
00:27Firefighters brought the blaze under control about an hour later,
00:30and overhaul operations are ongoing to prevent any recurrence.
00:34The cause of the fire and the extent of losses are still under investigation.
