00:00Let's talk about Chapel Hill. Let's talk about Big Bill Belichick. He hires former Arkansas
00:06offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino as the new OC for the Tar Heels. Coach, thoughts about the
00:13hiring and can Petrino potentially take off as the new head coach in Chapel Hill?
00:20I thought they were about the same age. I don't know. Maybe he could. I think the key is Bobby
00:26Petrino, Ken, I don't think he can work for any head coach. He's got to work for a head coach that's
00:31very comfortable in his shoes that can say, you do what you want to do. Because I can't see Bobby
00:35Petrino changing what he wants to do because the head coach wants to do it. And I know that sounds
00:39crazy, but I've had some coordinators that thought they were better than I was at calling plays and
00:45they want to do their own thing. He's got to be, I think you've got Belichick who is comfortable
00:49enough to say, if I hire you, I'm going to let you be you. But I don't think Petrino works with
00:54just everybody because you get a younger head coach or a kid coach that wants to have his hand
00:58in it and wants to tell him what to do. I don't think Bobby Petrino responds very well
01:02to doing what everybody thinks he's going to do. And he's proven that in the past. I'm just
01:06doing what he wants to do. And so I think it's a, I think if there was a perfect match,
01:10I think it might just be a perfect matchup for Petrino.
01:13Now, I agree. I think for North Carolina, it brings a balanced offense potentially
01:19to Chapel Hill at Arkansas. This offense averaged 450 total yards per game. They have one of the
01:26most athletic quarterbacks in tailing green. If he could bring that to North Carolina,
01:30this team can be dynamic in 2026.
