00:23been watching it for a while. I remember going down to Times Square on 2016, and I went down
00:38around noon, and I was let in these gates. I believe I stood right there, as you can see.
00:53Right around there. One of the first ones in. Now you see there's volume here. Let's turn
01:05that down a bit. Turn it lower.
01:23Okay. So 1.23 p.m. Yeah, usually there's people in there by now. But if you log in on the
01:42same exact, Times Square.com, sometimes you can get this view here on camera one. There's
01:55the first guitar I've seen. I don't know what band that is or what the lineup is. That's
02:06the first guitar I've seen. And they still haven't. That right there is just a burn mark on the
02:16laptop screen. So they still haven't let anybody in. If you're wondering how it works. And they
02:29did have extra security the past couple of years. So I haven't bothered with it. And this here,
02:39now let's try to, this is just not a good picture here at all. Let's see. Usually you can go to the
02:50next slide. See, there's the Cape Cod bay cam. So it's not letting anyone view camera one. I believe that's
03:06where the ball will come down later. When it's darker, you'll be able to see that. So let's stick
03:17with this and see if they let anybody in. So this is live. It is 1325, 28 degrees.
03:36Let's try to turn up the volume a bit. I guess they're testing out their
03:43speakers. I did see some fog coming from this stage here. Testing out the fog machines.

04:22Um, I got there before noon. And they let me in. I believe Carrie Underwood was playing that year.
04:312016 into 2017 or 2015 into 2016. Now I'm not sure. Okay. And the, uh, sound guy has stopped the music.
04:47It is 1.37 p.m. Still no one is in. You could hear, hear some traffic.
05:03I'm just wondering when they're going to let in the public. Camera two.
05:21Then you could get, like, a live broadcast going. I'm sure there's people that are doing that on YouTube.
05:33But, uh, this is the same setup, though. So I would have been right about there.
05:42And there's the other stage. I didn't think, you know, that that was the more popular stage back then.
05:52Right after Christmas, they get those trucks to move all that equipment.
06:06Anyhow, I've got a bunch of videos probably on this, uh, channel on daily motion, um, from back in 2016.
06:25On the countdown and Carrie Underwood and when I got there, if you're interested.
06:33And if people like this video here, maybe I'll make, uh, a later one.
06:41But I don't imagine they're not going to do anything until, I don't know, two, three, four o'clock.
06:49By then they should have the first artist on stage.
06:53If I remember correctly, you know, every hour they have another artist on stage.
