00:05on this 67th anniversary of the triumph of the revolution.

00:10In an official statement, President Nicolás Maduro highlighted the date,

00:14which also marks the centennial of the birth of Commander Fidel Castro.

00:19This means during this year, it's the centennial year,

00:22stating that dawn of 1959 represented a new beginning for our sister Cuba.

00:28It was the birth of hope that lit the torch of dignity and hope for all the peoples of our America and the world

00:36who fight for their definitive independence.

00:39The communique goes on to say that Venezuela and Cuba ratified today more than ever

00:44in the face of the grotesque imperial pretensions to violate sovereignty with blockades and aggressions

00:51to besiege our Caribbean their unwavering commitment to continue advancing together

00:57as sister nations on the path of defending sovereignty, peace, socialism and the right of our people.
