01:00Day-to-day stress.
01:02It's just at night.
01:05I mean, it's the weirdest thing.
01:09I keep waking up at exactly 11.34, like on the dot,
01:15But I'm stuck in like a sleep paralysis.
01:22It's the same exact time every night, and sometimes it lasts for hours.
01:30And always, I don't feel like I'm alone when this happens.
01:38Everything's in my house, and whenever it gets like this, I see and I hear things.
01:54Michael, I'll let you know that it's not uncommon at all to experience hallucinations
02:08during forms of psychosis, including sleep paralysis.
02:11So rest easy there.
02:12You are not crazy.
02:13I'm going to let you know that right now.
02:14So hopefully you can take some comfort from that.
02:17And there's any number of factors that could play into why this is happening,
02:21including simply sleep deprivation.
02:24Of all the times we've talked about this feeling of being watched during nights,
02:29I believe this is the first mention of sleep paralysis.
02:32How long exactly has that been going on?
02:34It started after Charlie told me his name.
02:41Charlie?
02:42Is that his name?
02:45That's why I texted you.
02:49He whispered it to me, and I could hear it clear as day.
02:56And then he appeared to me.
03:04Does he look different each time you've seen him?
03:09Can you describe what this person looks like?
03:12No, he always looks the same.
03:15It's skinny, like to the bone.
03:19His eyes are always shut, but I feel like he can still see me.
03:28And he wouldn't look that threatening in any other circumstance,
03:33but at night when I'm supposed to be alone,
03:36I felt like this is the kind of thing I've been dealing with all growing up.
03:46And I feel like now he's only shown himself because, you know, I can't do anything about it.
03:52Okay, well, I'm sorry these episodes have been so traumatic for you, it sounds like.
03:59For what consolation it's worth, it is important to remember just somewhere in the back of your mind
04:03during these events that none of this is real.
04:06And threatening as it might feel in the moment, no harm can really come to you, I assure you.
04:11Michael, I am so sorry.
04:12I do have to get going.
04:13If you'd like to, I am happy to keep a slot open for your first thing Monday morning
04:17if you'd like to talk more in depth about this at a later time.
04:19I'd like that. Thanks.
04:23Okay. Of course. Yeah, you take care, Michael.
04:27We'll talk about this a little bit later, okay?
04:30And you have a good rest of your week.
04:31Thanks. You too.
04:49Okay.
05:05Okay.
