00:00It felt like it was then or never.

00:03And it probably wasn't, even if I didn't go on to win.

00:08But it would have been one more bad memory and more scar tissue building up there for me.

00:16And trying to do something for so long.

00:19So my best chance was 14 years ago in 2011.

00:25And I've been close since.

00:27I finished second.

00:28I've played in final groups.

00:30But I've just never been able to quite figure it out.

00:33Was there anything on this day that made you think, wow, this might be it?

00:39I felt like I was playing as good as I ever have.

00:44I was confident.

00:45I came in to the Masters.

00:46I'd won two big events leading up to it.

00:48I won at Pebble Beach.

00:49I won the players.

00:50I won the players in a playoff.

00:52So I had come through recent pressure situations.

00:57And I'd gotten through them.

00:59So that's why I felt just more comfortable with where I was.
