00:00Welcome to a very special edition of Jesse Waters Primetime. I'm your host this evening,
00:10Charlie Hurt. Happy 2026. So how's your New Year's resolution holding up?
00:22Before you start thinking about New Year's resolutions, you go all out the night before.
00:30Trump threw the biggest New Year's bash right from the winter White House Mar-a-Lago.
00:37Ice Ice Baby was playing and America's heartthrob was getting his groove on. And Kristi Noem was too.
00:44If you went with your checkbooks, you could have left the party with a beautiful painting
01:02auctioned by 47 himself.
01:04One million. Two million? Two million. Whoa. Two million. Two million. Wow.
01:15Did you see what I mean? Did I tell you these people? I'll sign it if you get more.
01:19Okay. Are there any other bids? All right, we're at two million five. Anybody else?
01:27Going once? Two million seven fifty. Who is that? Oh, I know who that guy is. He's got plenty of cash.
01:35And the party didn't stop as soon as the clock struck midnight. Trump's still partying until the
01:42weekend. The Rose Bowl was yesterday and the president's B-2 bombers emerged from the clouds.
01:49America sending a message to the world here in Pasadena. We got a B-2 and you don't.
02:00There's some things that USA has that nobody else does. College football is one of them.
02:08And a B-2 stealth bomber is another. Greatest country on earth. No questions asked.
02:16Well, thank you.
02:26Wow. Hell yeah, America.
02:30It's good stuff right there. The Trump gala was the party to go to this year.
02:34Meanwhile, the other party on the East Coast was kind of a dud. All the commies flocked to New York
02:41City for Kami Mamdani's inauguration party. The guest list included Hochul,
02:46Tish James, AOC, of course, and even the burned dog put on a parka and made it out to the party.
02:54They were all bundled up singing the Kami National Anthem, Bread and Roses.
02:59The singing didn't stop there. Momdani brought out a little star power. Mandy Pendekin serenaded the crowd.
03:19Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds fly, birds fly over the rainbow, why then, oh, why can't I?
03:43So much fun. If that's not your taste in music, how about a little Punjabi hip-hop?
03:51Bubblicious was in the White House, in the house.
03:54But move over, Babu. It was time to get serious. The Kami brought on a poet to soothe the crowd with DEI.
04:16I'd like to dedicate this poem to my trans, queer, foreign students of color so they can see this is possible.
04:32The poem is called Proof. Proof. You have to imagine it. Who said you were too dark, too large, too queer, too loud?
04:50Speaking of DEI, AOC wanted to remind everyone the new mayor is as DEI as it gets.
05:00Dohran Momdani will be the first Muslim mayor of our great city.
05:07He will be our first immigrant mayor in over a century.
05:13And he will be the youngest mayor of New York City in generations.
05:20But most importantly, Zoran will be a mayor for all of us.
05:26Thank goodness. Not everyone was having the time of their lives, though.
05:30Zoran's cheerleading squad was disappointed by his disastrous block party.
05:36No food, no bathrooms. People were just stuck behind the barricades watching it on TV.
05:42I could have watched this from home is what one Queens woman said.
05:46A Brooklyn resident said, it's not exactly what I was expecting.
05:51I was expecting food and music.
05:54Eventually, you run out of other people's money.
05:56Another said, I'm really unhappy.
05:59Meanwhile, Lady Momdani was warm.
06:03She put on her $630 designer boots and not very socialist of her.
06:09So, get used to it, New York City.
06:12The Momdani block party is going on for another four years.
06:16Beginning today, we will govern expansively and audaciously.
06:21We may not always succeed, but never will we be accused of lacking the courage to try.
06:27To those who insist that the era of big government is over, hear me when I say this.
06:35No longer will City Hall hesitate to use its power to improve New Yorkers' lives.
06:41We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.
06:47If our campaign demonstrated that the people of New York yearn for solidarity, then let this government foster it.
06:54Collectivism is what turned Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, Soviet Union into socialist hellscapes.
07:02And rugged individualism is what built the greatest country on earth.
07:06But the commie wants to walk right into your living room, no invite needed.
07:11If your landlord does not responsibly steward your home, city government will step in.
07:17So, Bernie won't have to travel to Moscow to go to his commie paradise anymore.
07:22He'll just make a pit stop in New York City on his way from Vermont to D.C.
07:27New York is already feeling the burn.
07:31Demanding that the wealthy and large corporations start paying their fair share of taxes.
07:38Soon, Fifth Avenue will be a communist's dream.
07:52Everything will have the F word on it.
07:54Free.
07:55Bernie said so himself.
07:57Iran's opponents have called the agenda that he campaigned on radical,
08:07communistic,
08:11oh, and absolutely unachievable.
08:16Really?
08:17That's not what we believe.
08:22Free bus transportation is not radical.
08:28It will save workers time and money.
08:32What won't save workers time is Mamdani's bread lines coming to the city soon.
08:38Making sure that every family in the city,
08:44regardless of income,
08:46has access to decent, quality food
08:49at an affordable cost is not radical.
08:55Good nutrition keeps us healthy,
08:59helps prevent chronic illnesses.
09:02If you don't think Kwame the commie is listening to the old commie dog, think again.
09:15The commie says Bernie's wish is his command.
09:18Thank you to the man whose leadership I seek most to emulate,
09:22who I am so grateful to be sworn in by today,
09:25Senator Bernie Sanders.
09:27New York pretty much just elected a Muslim Bernie Sanders.
09:33And ex-mayor Bill de Blasio was crying tears of joy.
09:39It was a really beautiful, beautiful ceremony.
09:43I think this was in many ways a love song to New York from Mamdani.
09:48It was actually quite poetic,
09:50the way he talked about the city and our people.
09:52And I think that's something that should not be underestimated.
09:54All the commies are excited about Mamdani's party
09:58because he's proving that he's not shying away from his crazy policies.
10:03And to sweeten the deal,
10:05the commie even appointed an Al-Qaeda defense lawyer.
10:08Uh-oh.
10:09CNN says the commie is about as American as apple pie.
10:14And he's standing tall like the Empire State.
10:18If Zahra Mamdani were something,
10:21he'd be the Empire State Building,
10:22way up there in the clouds in terms of popularity
10:25compared to other politicians in the state of New York.
10:28And Donald Trump,
10:29well, he would be like a garbage dump out on Staten Island.
10:32Someone should tell New Yorkers
10:33that the Empire State Building wasn't built by communism.
10:36It wasn't built by what Mamdani calls,
10:39it was built by what Mamdani calls rugged individualism.
10:43Once Mamdani and his socialist hooligans
10:45start tearing that apart,
10:47it's going to look freaky.
10:49The midterms will be a wake-up call,
10:52not for Democrats, but for Republicans.
10:54Democrats are going to be the ones
10:56knocking on the door of Trump's party,
10:59begging for bread and help.
11:02Sunny Kutcher is executive director
11:04of Young Americans Against Socialism,
11:06and she joins me now.
11:08Sunny, so great to see you.
11:09So I just got to ask you straight up,
11:11which of those two parties would you have rather gone to?
11:13Yeah, that's a really tough choice.
11:16I don't know.
11:17I'd have to say,
11:19I'd like to see both of them
11:20before I make my final decision.
11:22But, you know, Bill de Blasio said,
11:24the best love song to New York.
11:25As a native New Yorker,
11:26I reject that notion.
11:28It sounded more like the Grim Reaper's anthem.
11:31This less than desirable music,
11:32a Canadian singer singing at the New York City
11:35mayor's inauguration.
11:36And then shortly after, as you mentioned,
11:38Mayor Mamdani has now appointed an Al-Qaeda terrorist.
11:44He's the defender of an Al-Qaeda terrorist.
11:47That does not scream American values to me.
11:51And I think that is why we set out to
11:53send this message to young Americans
11:56that socialism is not the answer,
11:58that you might be looking for these promises
12:01that Mayor Mamdani is selling.
12:03But that's exactly it.
12:04It's just a selling point
12:06that is built on lies and deception,
12:07and that is what it has always been.
12:10Its intention, as Karl Marx said,
12:12the father of Marxism,
12:13is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.
12:17And I think that the hundreds million lives
12:20that have been taken due to the collectivist
12:22and Marxist, socialist, communist ideologies
12:24would beg to differ that collectivism is warm.
12:29You know, it's interesting.
12:30We hear a lot these days
12:32from a lot of those same voters
12:34talking about fascism.
12:35And they don't seem to draw the connection
12:38between fascism
12:39and what Mamdani just came right out
12:41and said, collectivism.
12:44Absolutely.
12:45And anything that's going to usher in
12:47big government control
12:49feeds right into the hands
12:50of what socialists want.
12:52And that is exactly what happened in Cuba.
12:54Fidel Castro was actually elected
12:56by its people,
12:58and then he proceeded to change the constitution
13:00and declare himself a dictator.
13:02Now, we can't speculate that this would happen here,
13:05but the pattern is that
13:07democratic socialists,
13:08they say that just to soften the blow,
13:10soften the pill of what socialism really is.
13:13But all that it is,
13:14is centralizing power.
13:16And young people think,
13:17okay, well, if we give the government more power,
13:19that'll be better.
13:20They'll distribute it more equally.
13:22But that truly, at its core,
13:24goes against the entire value system
13:27of what this country was built upon,
13:29what the founding fathers knew,
13:31they saw they came from a monarchy,
13:33they came from authoritarianism,
13:35and they knew that in order
13:36to protect those freedoms,
13:37the government is actually there to support us.
13:40We tell the government,
13:41this is what we need.
13:42And as he said,
13:43he's ushering big government.
13:44He said, if you're someone who thinks
13:46that big government isn't here to stay,
13:48you are wrong and we will intervene.
13:50And that is just,
13:51could not be more of a red flag
13:53for communist control.
13:55What would you like to see conservatives do
13:58to do a better job of reaching young people
14:01with a more honest and hopeful message?
14:05I think the hope is to come back to the core
14:08of what American way of life is really all about.
14:11Freedom of opportunity,
14:13equality in character,
14:15treating people the way that you would treat yourself,
14:17respect, and also small government,
14:19like I mentioned earlier,
14:21that the government is there to work for us.
14:23Socialism only kills and destroys.
14:25It will take away and promises
14:27it will give you everything and more.
14:29That's what the Russian revolution was on,
14:30bread, land, and peace.
14:31And what did they get?
14:32Starvation and death.
14:34And that's what our organization,
14:36Young Americans Against Socialism,
14:37YAS.org is where you can go to support,
14:40is why we interview survivors of these countries
14:42so that people can actually share their stories.
14:45And you can hear the reality,
14:46not these lies that these democratic socialists
14:49will have you think that it truly is.
14:52Socialism is death and destruction,
14:54and that's all it is.
14:55100 million people killed by,
14:57under socialism over the past century.
15:00Sunny Kutcher, thank you so much for joining us.
15:03Always a pleasure.
15:03Thanks for having me.
15:04Good to see you.
15:05Okay, let's bring in Kat Timph,
15:07who you can catch on tour now.
15:10So, where are you going on tour?
15:12Where am I not going?
15:13I'm going to St. Charles, Missouri.
15:15I'm going to Springfield, Missouri.
15:16I'm going to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
15:17I'm going to Tulsa, Oklahoma,
15:19Santa Ana, Pueblo, New Mexico,
15:20and plenty of new cities,
15:21which will be announced soon.
15:22But tickets are selling fast,
15:24so everyone should go to
15:24TheRealKatTimp.com now to get some.
15:26And they will not be
15:27Zoran Mamdani,
15:30the commie socialist parties,
15:32I'm thinking.
15:32No.
15:33Knowing you.
15:34No, absolutely not.
15:35No, I'm really hustling.
15:37I have to hustle to make even more money
15:39to pay my more taxes
15:41than I'm already paying now.
15:42They're going to be a monument
15:45to rugged individualism,
15:46if I know you.
15:47Oh, of course.
15:48I live as a monument
15:49to rugged individualism.
15:51So, why is this?
15:53We were talking about this
15:54earlier on The Five today.
15:55What, why has this,
15:59first of all,
16:00why have young people
16:01been drawn to this ideology
16:04in a place like New York City
16:05and beyond New York City,
16:07by the way?
16:08So, I find Mamdani's ideas
16:10to be ridiculous.
16:11I know for a fact
16:12that they would make
16:13everything worse,
16:14that they do not work,
16:15that the only way
16:16for prices to come down
16:18is competition,
16:18and you can only have competition
16:19in the free market.
16:20I understand that.
16:22I also see people talk
16:24who are my age,
16:25who are frustrated
16:25with the way things are,
16:26and they feel that
16:27nobody's listening to them.
16:29People in my generation
16:30cannot buy homes,
16:32and it's because home prices
16:34have doubled in some areas,
16:37whereas wages have not doubled.
16:39It is no longer,
16:40and this is, there's,
16:41it's very sad,
16:42it's no longer the case
16:43that you can just, you know,
16:45save up and work a normal job
16:47and do all the things
16:48that Americans used to be able to do
16:49and buy a home in many areas,
16:51and so he's saying,
16:53I hear you,
16:54and a lot of people,
16:55that's enough.
16:56They're kind of like,
16:57whatever, I'll try this.
16:58Now, obviously,
16:59these ideas will not work
17:00and it'll make everything
17:01a lot worse,
17:02but young people feel like somebody,
17:04because a lot of,
17:05a lot of people
17:05in older generations
17:06just say if you work harder,
17:07you can do it,
17:08and that's not always
17:08the case anymore.
17:09You know,
17:10one of the things
17:10I love about you
17:11is you're not in the business
17:12of giving political advice.
17:13No.
17:14But if you were
17:15to give political advice
17:17to a, you know,
17:19knight in shining armor
17:20who was going to combat
17:21something you despise,
17:23like socialism,
17:24what would you tell them?
17:26What would you advise them
17:27to say to those young people
17:29like my children?
17:30I have no idea
17:31how my children
17:31will buy their first house.
17:33Yeah, I would say
17:34I would start with listening
17:35and looking at the facts
17:38and looking at the statistics.
17:38Acknowledging the data.
17:39Acknowledging the data.
17:40Acknowledging what the data shows.
17:42You may have been able
17:44to work these low-paying jobs
17:47and work really hard
17:48and I'm not denying
17:49that anyone
17:49in the older generations
17:50worked very hard.
17:50I'm sure you did.
17:51But listen
17:52and listen
17:53and offer other solutions
17:56such as maybe deregulation
17:58or there's housing shortages.
18:01There are things
18:01other than socialism
18:02that can be,
18:03socialism will not
18:04solve this problem,
18:05obviously,
18:05and make it far worse.
18:06But rather than just saying,
18:08oh, work hard,
18:09you can do it,
18:10there's a lot of people
18:10who say,
18:10well, I am working really hard.
18:12I'm working so hard
18:13and I am still
18:16not anywhere near
18:17ever being able
18:18to afford a home
18:19and just starting from listening.
18:22Yeah, and one of the things
18:23that sort of has always
18:24bothered me about this
18:25is because you do have
18:27an entire party
18:28that has done a very poor job
18:30of acknowledging this problem.
18:32And as you point out,
18:33you look at the data,
18:34it's clear.
18:35But of course,
18:35one of those things,
18:36I think that one
18:38of those elements
18:38is that you have
18:39a lot of investors out there
18:41who look around,
18:42the dollar is in the tank,
18:44you've got the national debt
18:46is approaching $40 trillion.
18:48Where else are big companies,
18:51you know,
18:51investors going to park their money?
18:53They're going to buy up houses.
18:54I would too
18:55if I was a billionaire.
18:56That's the only thing
18:57I would buy
18:58if I had a bunch of money
18:59lying around.
19:00You think I'd put it in T-bonds?
19:01I would put it all
19:02in real estate.
19:03It's the only thing
19:04that I would have any faith in.
19:05And that too
19:06is causing houses to.
19:08Oh, of course.
19:09There's so many.
19:10There's so many reasons for this.
19:11There's people
19:11that are locked
19:12into these lower rates
19:13that will never leave
19:13and so on and so forth.
19:15But conservatives,
19:16what you've got to do
19:17is just acknowledge
19:18that it used to be
19:20three, four times
19:21median income
19:22to buy a home.
19:22Now in many areas,
19:23it's six to ten.
19:24That's not a gap
19:25that could be closed
19:26with not eating out
19:27and those kinds of things.
19:28And free market
19:29is the solution
19:30to lower prices.
19:30But they've got to be better
19:31on that messaging.
19:32Yeah.
19:33And as you said earlier,
19:34saving, you know,
19:35cutting out lattes
19:36is not going to get you
19:36a down payment.
19:37Sadly, no.
19:38All right.
19:39Always lovely to see you.
19:40Always great to see you, too.
19:41Don't go anywhere.
19:49It's time now
19:50for our headline roundup.
19:51Let's bring in
19:52the host of
19:53The Brett Cooper Show,
19:55Brett Cooper herself.
19:56So great to see you tonight.
19:58Thanks for joining us.
20:00Thanks for having me.
20:01First up,
20:02CNN went loco
20:04on New Year's Eve.
20:05They even told
20:06some trans jokes.
20:08Where's the best place
20:10to meet a man in 2026?
20:12Oh, really?
20:13Well, where's a good place
20:15to meet a man?
20:16I'd say in the ladies room.
20:18Then Andy Cohen suggested
20:20a new job
20:21for Stephen Colbert
20:22after his show
20:23gets canceled.
20:26Well, what do you say
20:27to people who want you
20:28to run for office?
20:29Don't you like me?
20:37Why would you want me
20:39to do that?
20:41Right.
20:42It's a cruel thing
20:43to wish on anyone.
20:44Then guys like me
20:45would make fun of you.
20:49Right.
20:50Right.
20:51Everything would be flipped.
20:54So I don't know
20:55where to make this, Brett.
20:56Is CNN getting
20:58some common sense?
20:59Getting a sense of humor
21:00or what?
21:02I think they're getting
21:03a sense of humor.
21:03I think they've realized
21:04that comedy is back
21:06if they've seen anything
21:06over the last year.
21:07We're having fun
21:08on social media.
21:09We're making fun
21:10of everything,
21:11which is how it should be.
21:12That's healthy.
21:13But I appreciate Colbert
21:14being honest,
21:15at least,
21:16because he's rich.
21:17He's a celebrity.
21:18He already has a podcast.
21:19So why else would he
21:20need to run for office?
21:21I feel like that's what
21:21all politicians want these days.
21:23They want to make money.
21:24They want to scam the system.
21:25So I think he's already
21:26made enough money for that.
21:27Yeah, so you took that
21:29as a pretty Sherman-esque no.
21:30I took that.
21:31I just assume
21:32all these people
21:33always think
21:34that they should be there.
21:35They love power.
21:38That is true.
21:39That is true.
21:40But I do feel like
21:41in his position,
21:42he feels a great sense
21:43of power already
21:44because he feels like
21:45he owns the airwaves
21:46even though he's,
21:46you know,
21:47being canceled.
21:48So I feel like
21:48he already is in a position
21:49where he feels like
21:50he can drive the narrative
21:51and move culture around.
21:52So maybe he's sitting
21:53pretty where he is.
21:55But he's going to have
21:55to find new work
21:56at some point.
21:57Okay, next up.
21:59Nobody likes paper straws.
22:01They get soggy.
22:02They lose their firmness
22:03and they turn into mush.
22:05But if you live in Florida,
22:06there's hope.
22:08State officials are moving
22:09to ban them all together.
22:11The bill cites studies
22:12that show paper straws
22:14contain harmful chemicals,
22:16which may pose
22:18potential health risks.
22:20So is this good news?
22:21Is this government overreach?
22:22What do you think?
22:25All right.
22:25Well, I hate paper straws,
22:26so I am happy
22:27if we get rid of them.
22:28But I do want to say,
22:29you know,
22:29they're citing health concerns here.
22:30I feel like they're throwing a bone
22:32to the MAGA movement in Florida.
22:33But this is kind of disappointing to me
22:35because they're citing concerns
22:36about chemicals.
22:37Meanwhile,
22:37House Republicans
22:38are slipping something
22:39into our new spending bill.
22:41It is Section 453,
22:43I believe,
22:43which would give immunity
22:44to huge pesticide companies.
22:46I think it would cover
22:4757,000 different chemicals.
22:50And these are chemicals
22:51that have been linked
22:52to cancer and Parkinson's
22:54and infertility.
22:55And House Republicans
22:56are just slipping it in,
22:57which feels like they're giving
22:57the middle finger to MAHA.
23:00And so while I am excited
23:01about getting rid of paper straws
23:02and I hate them,
23:03I think any girl
23:04who enjoys her ice lattes
23:06every day wants them gone.
23:07But it feels like
23:08this is a bigger issue
23:08that we should be talking about
23:09if we're concerned
23:10with the chemicals
23:11and that sort of thing.
23:12Right.
23:12Well, and it seems like
23:15we'll never get rid
23:16of the capture of Congress
23:18by big industries.
23:20Okay, and finally,
23:21RIP to the chicken finger
23:24and farewell
23:25to the beloved hot dog.
23:27We all love a good dog.
23:29According to the Wall Street Journal,
23:31little Tommy wants sushi instead.
23:34Raw fish is replacing pizza parties
23:37and parents are going broke.
23:39One New Jersey sushi chef
23:42said, quote,
23:45I see omakase customers
23:47as young as six years old.
23:49The parents say
23:50it's a reward
23:51for finishing their homework.
23:54Brett, when did you have
23:55your first sushi?
23:58Okay, I actually had my first sushi
24:00at a very young age.
24:01We had a Bilo grocery store
24:03at the bottom of the mountain
24:04where I lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
24:05And I would go in
24:06and I would have a Philadelphia roll.
24:07But this was not like high-end sushi.
24:09This Wall Street Journal article
24:10is saying that these kids,
24:11that they're spending $150 a plate,
24:14these were like $3 sushi rolls
24:16from Bilo.
24:17So I think my taste was where it should be
24:19as like a six-year-old.
24:20But I hope that Trump reads this headline
24:21and goes, oh my gosh, okay,
24:22we really need,
24:23we need to make sure the economy
24:24is top-notch.
24:25We need to make things work
24:26for these families
24:27because they're going to go broke
24:28if they keep feeding these kids this.
24:29It also feels like a bunch of
24:31maybe first children
24:32or spoiled children
24:33because I think by the time
24:34I came around,
24:35I was the fourth child in my family.
24:37My mom was not spending $150
24:38on a dinner for me.
24:39She was like,
24:39you're going to eat what you get.
24:40You're going to have the leftovers.
24:41I'm too tired.
24:42I've had too many children.
24:43So I'm just thinking
24:44maybe it goes back to parenting.
24:45We all knew you were an early achiever,
24:48but it was gas station sushi
24:50that you were eating.
24:51So I don't know if that really counts.
24:53Exactly.
24:53But it also does kind of sound
24:54like a first world problem.
24:56I don't think that,
24:57I don't think that your regular normal person
25:00is sitting around
25:01going bankrupt eating sushi.
25:03But we appreciate it.
25:05No, not at all.
25:06We appreciate you.
25:08Thank you so much for joining us.
25:11Thanks for having me on.
25:13Stick around.
25:16Fox News alert.
25:17The FBI revealing more
25:18about the thwarted
25:20New Year's Eve terror plot
25:22in North Carolina.
25:23That suspect now in federal custody.
25:26Justice correspondent David Spunt
25:28is here with more.
25:29Authorities say this 18-year-old
25:32is in custody tonight.
25:34Thankfully, this plot
25:35never came to become a reality.
25:37But according to federal investigators,
25:39the plan was in the works
25:40for about a year
25:42and it involved attacking
25:43innocent people
25:44inside a grocery store
25:46on New Year's Eve
25:47with hammers and knives.
25:49We have some photos
25:51to share from the court complaint.
25:53Christian Sturdivant
25:54is 18 years old
25:55from Mint Hill, North Carolina.
25:57That's a suburb of Charlotte.
25:59Police said he planned
26:00to use hammers.
26:02Authorities also seized
26:03two butcher knives
26:04hidden under his bed.
26:06It was a very well-planned,
26:08thoughtful attack
26:10that he had planned
26:11and that was fortunately
26:12foiled here.
26:13He was preparing for jihad
26:14and innocent people
26:15were going to die.
26:16And we're very, very fortunate
26:17they did not.
26:18These gloves and tactical vests
26:20were also taken as evidence.
26:23Both are being analyzed
26:24by authorities.
26:25According to federal investigators,
26:27Sturdivant pledged his support
26:28to ISIS online
26:30with someone who he thought
26:31was a member of ISIS.
26:33But it turns out
26:34that person was
26:35an undercover officer
26:36working with the NYPD
26:38in New York.
26:39Authorities say
26:40he then spoke
26:41with another person
26:42he thought was a member
26:43of ISIS,
26:43but it turns out
26:44that person
26:45was an undercover
26:46FBI agent.
26:48Authorities had Sturdivant
26:49on the radar
26:49since January 2022
26:51when he was on social media
26:54with an unidentified
26:55ISIS member overseas.
26:56He was under 18 years old
26:59at the time
26:59and no charges were filed.
27:01According to the FBI,
27:03today they say
27:04that at that time
27:05he received psychological care
27:07ordered by a state judge.
27:08But now,
27:09in early 2026,
27:11he's charged
27:12with attempting
27:12to provide materials
27:14to a foreign terrorist organization.
27:18If convicted,
27:19Sturdivant faces
27:20a statutory maximum sentence
27:22of up to 20 years
27:23in federal prison,
27:24but it all depends
27:25on what a federal judge
27:27will ultimately decide.
27:29Back to you.
27:30David Spunt,
27:31thank you.
27:33So,
27:33it's a new year,
27:34meaning time to get
27:35ripped with the boys.
27:37Maybe you gotta go
27:38to a big wedding
27:38coming up in Miami
27:39and you wanna look good.
27:42Trump's in tip-top shape
27:43and he has some advice.
27:46First step,
27:47the A word.
27:49Quote,
27:49they say aspirin
27:51is good for thinning
27:52out the blood
27:53and I don't want
27:54thick blood
27:55pouring through my heart.
27:56I want nice,
27:57thin blood
27:58pouring through my heart.
27:59Does that make sense?
28:02Next,
28:03forget workout apps
28:04like
28:05that's
28:07boring.
28:09Trump says
28:10to walk
28:11on a treadmill
28:12or run
28:13on a treadmill
28:14for hours
28:15and hours
28:15like some people do,
28:17that's not for me.
28:19Don't worry
28:20if Don doesn't
28:21look like treadmills.
28:22Laura,
28:23Laura Trump's
28:25got the whole family covered.
28:27You know what?
28:28We hear that
28:29we have some people
28:30in this administration
28:30saying we're gonna
28:32start working out
28:32at airports
28:34and I love it.
28:35But not the president.
28:35The president says
28:36it's boring.
28:37He says it's boring.
28:38He said it's boring.
28:38I'm working out
28:39for all the Trumps
28:40so don't worry about it.
28:41Trump has his eyes
28:43on other sports
28:44and America 250
28:45is packed
28:46with activities.
28:47The World Cup
28:49this summer.
28:50Trump already won
28:51the FIFA Nobel Prize
28:53and now is ready
28:54to throw
28:55a huge
28:56party.
28:58Here's
28:58the Patriot Games
28:59in the fall.
29:01Think of this
29:02like the Hunger Games
29:03for high school
29:04athletes.
29:05The best
29:06of the best
29:06across the country
29:07competing
29:08in an unprecedented
29:09four-day event.
29:12One young man
29:13and one young woman
29:14from each state
29:15and territory
29:16but I promise
29:17there will be
29:18no men
29:19playing in women's sports.
29:21You're not gonna see that.
29:22You'll see everything
29:22but that.
29:23We'll take it.
29:24And that's not it.
29:25This summer
29:26the Octagon
29:27is coming to the
29:28South Lawn
29:28of the White House.
29:29The main fight
