'Stranger Things' costumes don't just have to look good—they also require special customizations to allow actors like Millie Bobby Brown to be able to wear them for very long days on set. In this video, costume designer Amy Parris explains how they modified costumes, like Eleven’s wetsuit, to be worn all day, including cutting the collar and mesh for breathability.

00:00So this is an outfit that was script-specific.
00:02The bros were specific that it should feel like it comes from a sporting goods store.
00:05So initially, I thought of Body Glove.
00:07They're now manufactured in Japan, so they were able to recreate an archived piece.
00:12They made us about 20, I think, because, again, she has quite a lot of action in it.
