00:00Several dozen snow-covered tents line this street in the historic heart of Paris, sheltering young homeless migrants from the bitter cold.
00:12Around 300 young African migrants are spending freezing nights outdoors, many seeking official recognition as minors.
00:21But despite the cold, exhaustion and uncertainty, the migrants say they are determined to keep going.
00:30There's no choice but to keep going. You have to just stay strong. Make sure that you don't die, you know?

00:52Most of the migrants here are from Guinea, Ivory Coast and Mali.
00:56For many of them, it's their first time living on the streets. Exposed to the cold, they face a new harsh reality far from home.
01:08I've never lived outside before, so I didn't know how it would go.
01:11But I was given a bit of explanation, saying that in the cold it would be very difficult.
01:15Still, we didn't expect the cold to find us out here.

01:27The coordinator says they arrive with mixed emotions.

01:39and yet knowing that in the evening they'll still be outside, it's sleeping under the snow.
01:43So yes, there was a very strange mix of emotions yesterday when they saw the snow for the first time.
01:48Despite the growing number of young migrants sleeping on the streets, Paris authorities continue to urge that all camp residents be provided shelter.
01:57If you'd also ask them justly whoever greets you all, sit with the neighbours for Möglichkeiten and that you're here,
