00:00Well, I've been so excited to talk to you because we are here at Disney Night.
00:05You're going back to your Disney roots.
00:07So what was it like to kind of tap back into this character
00:10and also have Milo and Meg join you for rehearsals?
00:13It was incredible.
00:15I love Meg and Milo.
00:16They're some of my favorite people on this planet.
00:18And so to have their support, especially this week,
00:21which was a very tough week for me mentally and emotionally,
00:24it was perfect timing.
00:27They just really uplifted me.
00:29They are always in my corner, always cheering me on.
00:31They are some of the best friends I could ask for.
00:34And they know me in and out.
00:36We've been through so much together.
00:38Filmed three movies now and done an animated series
00:41and so many fun zombies things.
00:44And so we've seen each other in our best and worst.
00:47And so they knew exactly what to say to pick me up.
00:50And Milo was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars before placing second.
00:54Did he give you any tips to kind of make it to the end?
00:57Yeah, I love Milo.
00:58I think he should have won the whole thing.
01:03He's a very talented kiddo.
01:06Yeah, he knows my struggle with perfectionism.
01:10And I think we have very parallel journeys in that way.
01:14And so he just reminded me that perfect is not the goal, nor should it be.
01:19But really, it's about the growth and the journey.
01:22And I know people say that, but I'm really learning it.
01:25I think you internalize it in a different way once you experience it.
01:28And I feel like I'm really getting to the point in the competition where I'm feeling it.
01:32And so that's a little gem that I'm going to take into these next couple of weeks.
01:37And this week, you also had a group dance.
01:40So how did that kind of change rehearsals?
01:43I mean, your thought process.
01:45You had to rely on not only each other, but other people.
01:47So can you tell me what that was like?
01:49Yeah, it was so much fun.
01:50I'll say that first.
01:51I think I've gotten so used to just this guy.
01:54My voice.
01:54That it was a bit jarring at times because you just have so many cooks in the kitchen.
01:59But I also mean that in a really good way because everybody's a pro for a reason.
02:04We had such incredible energy.
02:07And everybody had great creative ideas and visions for what we could do.
02:12And so I think we picked the best of everything and created something that we were all really proud of.
02:16And we had a whole lot of fun, which I think is the most important part.
02:19And it is Disney night, so I have to ask, what was your favorite, or who was, sorry,
02:25was your favorite Disney character growing up?
02:27This is for both of you.
02:29I said this earlier.
02:30Mushu.
02:31I just, he was my guy.
02:34He was my guy.
02:35He was funny, though.
02:36He's like the comedic relief in that movie.
02:39And you're like the comedic relief in real life.
02:40Just in life.
02:41Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:41You're just like throwing out the zingers all the time.
02:42Yeah, I feel like I walk around as Mushu, you know?
02:45Float around.
02:46Float around, slither around.
02:49Um, I would say, yeah, I was saying this earlier.
02:53I love Tiana.
02:55Genuinely, like, I was not the kid to have any posters up on my wall.
03:00And it's funny, like, I look back at it, and I did have one.
03:03And it was the first look that Disney dropped of Tiana.
03:07It's, like, out on her balcony, and she's, like, looking out into the distance.
03:10And I hung it right above my bed, and I, like, woke up and looked at it every morning
03:14and just, like, wanted to be her.
03:17And I think it was just the first time I, like, really saw myself as a princess in that space
03:22and just deeply resonated with her.
03:24And so that would be my answer.
03:26And, I mean, you bringing up Tiana, I could see you playing Princess Tiana in a live action.
03:32How would that be?
03:33Oh, thank you so much.
03:34Oh, you were talking to her?
03:35So sorry.
03:38Yeah, that would be magical.
03:40I mean, I should go to someone who is, like, incredible.
03:46And I don't know if I could live up to that.
03:49I don't know if I could live up to that.
03:51But, you know, if they want to, I will audition.
03:54So, um, send me the sign.
03:56Send me the script.
03:57She would love her reading.
03:58She would love her reading.
04:03She would love her reading.
