00:00And I've set the licensing. If you're doing a roadblock for more than 15 minutes in one space, then you're stupid.
00:07You have to be stupid because in the first five minutes, the whole of Tobago know where you are.
00:12So the effectiveness of the effectiveness of your of your roadblock after 15 minutes does not make sense.
00:21Mr. Augustine made the comments while addressing a Tobago People's Party political meeting in Calder Hall.
00:27He also referenced an incident involving his wife and the licensing officers in 2023 directing criticism at Transport Commissioner Clive Clark.
00:38So when they come in and talking as though they're on behalf of Tobago and Yans and about licensing officers come up, they created that monster.
00:48Ask Mr. Clark, the Commission of Transport, if he related to anybody in the former government.
00:55The chief secretary further criticized the former PNM administration over road traffic enforcement policies.
01:04Hislop, you are a hypocrite with a capital H. We do not want to hear you whatsoever.
01:10We don't want to hear you whatsoever.
01:13That way, Whitey, beat your tail last election.
01:16We don't want you.
01:17In response, Transport Commissioner Clive Clark told the TV6 News he has not been following political platforms and had no involvement in any road operation concerning Mr. Augustine or his wife.
01:40He said he is not related to anyone in government and would not be responding to political statements.
01:47Mr. Clark added that his focus remains on strengthening the operations of the licensing division with support from the minister and the permanent secretary.
