Philadelphia weather: Cold, blustery Wednesday ahead of warm-up for Easter
PHILADELPHIA - The severe weather of Tuesday afternoon has passed and in its place is much colder air, while winds remain strong.
What we know:
Tuesday started cloudy and warmed up quickly, into the upper 60s.
A cold front then moved into the Delaware Valley, bringing brief, but severe weather across the area.
Big picture view:
On the back end of the system, temperatures will drop into the mid-40s overnight, which is average, but they will only climb into the mid-50s on Wednesday.
Along with that, strong winds will remain, creating conditions that will feel like February.
What's next:
We will only have to endure the chilly temps Wednesday, as a rebound begins Thursday, taking us to a very pleasant Easter Sunday.
