Before anyone says anything, I have never said to anyone that one should go to any place to unwind like cruises.


As many of you probably don’t know, I didn’t quite make it out of the house on a one day trip to Texas Furry Fiesta on Saturday. Early Friday morning I knew all chances of that got blown out of the water when I looked out the window and saw clouds that looked like rain. I checked the weather, and even though there was a very little chance of the precipitation, it was too much of a risk of throwing feed into the back of my pickup which would have sat back there all day and night till the next morning because of getting off work at 8PM. Around 5pm it actually started sleeting mixed with rain in the city that I worked in which would have made a mess out of the paper feed sacks, so it was a good thing that I waited till the next day before I got the next load. I woke up on a Saturday about 7AM, and was out of the house about 8”30 to head to the feed store to find out that they were pretty packed. Then I went to the Shell gas station which I usually don’t go to but I didn’t feel like driving to the far side of town to the one that I usually go to. I don’t know what the deal was, but their pumps were going extremely slow. By the time that I got home and everything unloaded, it was already past 11am. By the time I got on the road, it would have been after 12, and I wouldn’t arrive till around 2:30 PM, then there was the parking that I heard was a hell, and when I finally got through the registration line, I would have already planned on heading home. So I basically gave up trying to go… again. So like I posted before, I’m going to do some better planning when it comes to 2027. So I’m going though a little bit of not going the con depression. What sucked is that I was under a hair of having eight hours of PPTO.
