Inktober 2023 continues on day 8 with the prompt Toad
A random toad posing as a prince is trying to convince Lady Malmsteen to give him a kiss! Lady Malmsteen does not seem to be buying into it so far. Its like she can see a phony when she sees one. She has been around a long time to know which suitors are totally full of it.
That toad is also playing with fire. Certain species of bats do feed on amphibians. Lucky for him she is a vampire bat; but who's to say The Lady's tastes haven't evolved over 400 years.
All this trouble just for a kiss. I know her lips look tempting but I think this toad's game will be up very soon if she actually goes through with it. (I don't think she will. XD)

Seems like every suitor the Lady has dealt with turns out to be a pompous blowhard. Granted, she's very arrogant, as well, but isn't a blowhard when it comes to having power and commanding authourity and respect, especially in her own realm. This toad is gonna regret it... But still, pleased to see more of the Lady once again for the October month. Here's to her birthday being an excellent one, as well.
Yeah! Can you believe this toad is risking everything for a kiss?! If he managed to succeed but The Lady found out he was lying; yeah it wouldn’t end well at all!
Or maybe he realized does believe he’s a handsome prince and wants a fair maiden’s kiss to break the curse!
Either way he’s playing with fire! And he’s no handsome foxy secret agent who has her heart under lovk n key! ;3
