Chart (General Term): This is the broader term encompassing all types of visual data representations in Google Sheets. It includes bar charts, pie charts, line charts, scatter plots, and more.

Usually in Google Sheets Charts and Graphs are used for visualizing the data but they may contain some differences which we will be talking about below:
Feature | Charts | Graphs |
|---|---|---|
Purpose | Visualize data relationships and trends | Represent data points with high precision |
Data Type | Numerical, Categorical, or Both | Primarily Numerical |
Versatility | Wide variety of chart types for different data presentations | More specific chart types for precise data visualization |
Information Level | General trends and patterns | Detailed information about each data point |
Axes | May or may not have axes | Uses X and Y axes to plot data points |
Relationship | All graphs are charts, but not all charts are graphs |
