Fungirl is back in this sensational, sopping wet one-shot!
With Becky away at college, Fungirl and Peter are left to their own devices. Suddenly, a mysterious renter appears in search of a room and charms our lust-ridden heroine. Is this blossoming connection too good to be true?
I know, I just gave 2 stars to Fun Girl, so why would I read a one-shot about a character I wasn't really engaged with? Well. . . I contain multitudes, I am contradictory, whatever. Like Fungirl?! This is a story of two women roommates who greet a woman at the door who is looking for a room to rent. They like her, Fungirl is consumed with lust, they agree to let her move in and do whatever she wants, and so the whole 32-page issue is Fungirl having fun with Newgirl. I had just read the longer collection, which seemed simpler. This one is wilder, faster paced, in keeping with the subject matter (a concentrated sex romp, played for laughs), with the art a little more elaborate and inventive and as usual, playfully kinky? Not still my jam, wrong audience, sure, but I think it's pretty good!
Ok. Listen. This title is not gonna be for everyone. The art will be shocking and out there for some. The story will be confusing and odd to other. But damn, I really liked this book. Something about it had me on the edge of my seat. Just when I thought it was gonna be a normal story - BAM. I'm not usually into titles like this...but I really enjoyed this one. 💗
I read this before the hardcover, and I'm glad I did because it made me go back to the big collection and now I... know things nobody should know... Revolting, but also fun.
DNF’ed at 25%. Revolting, it is indeed. Idk what it is exactly, I can’t quite pinpoint but this graphic novel just made me feel uncomfortable and gave me the ick.
