I’ve read all of the authors books and they are all very unique, the writing style is different and stands out, and the ending of the book will always leave you thinking.
Im definitely a fan of this author, I think “the seventh sister” may be my new favourite of her work. Her books are definitely a good choice for book club picks if you want to have lots to discuss.

“It should have been you” is absolutely packed with drama, each chapter ends on a cliff hanger, the pacing moves quickly throughout the book, expect the constant chaos to keep you entertained throughout.

No where burning follows the lives of two siblings who decide to run away in the middle of the night to an abandoned ranch previously belonging to a movie star, where other teenagers are taking refuge. Think Peter Pan took a dark turn. The siblings quickly realize that they may have left one horrific situation and landed themselves in an even worse one. This place reeks of danger and the lawless chaos is likely to be far more deadly.
If you are a fan of the author, youll definitely enjoy her latest book.

I liked the FMC despite her tendencies to be overly stubborn, ambitious, a little bit of a know it all but her passion and determination was definitely fun to watch.
I liked the magic system and the unethical subject / forbidden magic use the FMC chose for her studies. I also liked the email format between the student and the professor there were parts that definitely made me chuckle.
This book had great pacing and I didnt find any parts boring (which sometimes I find is the case with dark academia books).
