I love a missing person’s mystery and especially one where we’re following a civilian rather than a detective. That being said, this story quickly went in a direction that incorporates 2 things I’ve expressed not liking in the past.

Because of this, as the story progresses, I slowly lost interest.

I will say I did enjoy how fast paced this book was and the intensity of the ending, but overall it just wasn’t my vibe. I don’t think it’s bad, but it just wasn’t for me.
