Jeremy Hanes (jerjoe76) Any fans of Tamara Thorne out there? I read "Haunted" a long time ago and then read almost everything else I could get my hands on. "Haunted" is on the top of my favorite horror books. Such a great story. Hope she writes more. I miss her books.

Amanda | 41 comments I love Tamara Thorne. Haunted was probably my second favorite, right behind Moonfall. It's a shame she hasn't had anything new out for a while now.

Jeremy Hanes (jerjoe76) She is currently writing a sequel to the Candle Bay book

I absolutely love and adore Tamara's work, Eternity was one of the best books ever; both scary and fun and always on my mind. My collection of her works is almost complete, one day I will sit and read them all in a row.

Amanda | 41 comments That's wonderful news! I'll definitely look for the sequel to Candle Bay when it comes out.

I've got a handful of Thorne paperbacks, but have never read her yet. Has anyone read:

Haunted by Tamara Thorne Haunted
Moonfall by Tamara Thorne Moonfall
Candle Bay by Tamara Thorne Candle Bay
The Sorority Eve (Sorority Trilogy, #1) by Tamara Thorne The Sorority: Eve

I've read Haunted and Moonfall, plus Thunder Road. Been a long time, but I know I liked them enough to read 3 of her books, and I have another I found at a used book store sitting in my TBR pile.

Amanda | 41 comments I've read Haunted and Moonfall and enjoyed both. They're firmly on my favorites list.

Cute?? Please elaborate. I’m not sure cute is the word I want to use to describe my horror! 😉

Ha, to me they (Sorority trilogy) were quirky and light horror with cute moments. Especially "Professor tongue" ;)

Marie | 4055 comments I own some books my Tamara that I need to read - I did read this book that she co-wrote with Alistair Cross and I am planning on reading the rest of the series: The Ghosts of Ravencrest - Loved the gothic haunting of this book. :)

message 17: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments I actually asked Allistair Cross if she really existed because I was in the dark about her and I was convinced she was a pen name he was using lol. Turns out they just co-write books together.

So I finally read a Tamara Thorne book. I finished The Haunted and absolutely loved it. Her writing style is so smooth, so engaging. I definitely need to pull down her other work from my shelves.

Marie | 4055 comments Since my last post on here which was in 2023 I have read more of her books. I have not found a single one that I didn't like.

Books I have read in the last two years:

Haunted
Moonfall
Candle Bay (about vampires)

Then I read books that she co-wrote with Alistair Cross too:

The Cliffhouse Haunting
Five Nights in a Haunted Cabin (a true paranormal encounter of the authors staying in a haunted cabin)
The Witches of Ravencrest (the second book in their series of the Ravencrest Saga).

These sound interesting, especially The Cliffhouse Haunting based on reviews

Looks like her stuff is available on Kindle Unlimited

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 968 comments Although browsing this one too looks very good....Mother

Yeah most of her stuff is on KU which makes it easy to grab her stuff quick. lol

The Cliffhouse Haunting was so good - probably would be perfect to read it around spooky season. :)

Her book Moonfall is set around Halloween time but it is a chunky book as it is around 500 pages more or less. But I loved it too. :)

Marie | 4055 comments I actually started reading this book last night - it is the third book in the Ravencrest Saga.

Exorcism: The Ravencrest Saga: Book 3

There are four books out in the saga but they are working on book five which is supposed to be out around Halloween time. So I am trying to play catch up in the series so I can hopefully read book five when it comes out. :)
