Ariana Grande and Josh Gad will lend their melodic voices to the film adaptation of “Oh, The Places You’ll Go.”

Based on the Dr. Seuss classic, the animated musical will be directed by “Wicked” filmmaker Jon M. Chu and Jill Culton. Warner Bros. will release the movie on March 17, 2028.

Plot details haven’t been revealed, so it’s unclear how the film will take inspiration from the beloved picture book. “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” revolves around a young adventurer navigating the ups and downs of life and offers inspirational messages to readers like, “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.” With those platitudes, the book has become a popular gift for graduates or anyone at an inflection point.

The Wicked duo are reteaming for the upcoming animated feature film Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, based on the classic Dr. Seuss book.

Josh Gad has also joined the cast of the movie, though it’s unclear who they will be playing. Josh is also currently working with Wicked‘s Cynthia Erivo on another project that was confirmed this week.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go was the final book that Dr. Seuss published, which was at the age of 87. The book is about the journey of life and follows a young adventurer.

The upcoming animated adaptation will be written by Rob Lieber with original songs by Egot winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, best known for writing the music for Dear Evan Hansen and The Greatest Showman.

The 46-year-old actress stepped out for the premiere of her new movie on Monday (July 14) at the United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles.

Jennifer starred in the original 1997 film and the sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Now she is back as Julie James for the latest installment of the franchise!

The last time Jennifer walked a red carpet was in March 2024 for the premiere of her TV show 9-1-1, but before that, she hadn’t been on a carpet since 2019.
